Offline mode.. can it be PTE?

So lately I've been playing a lot of offline games because my computer is fast enough and why not. Sometimes I connect.. I'd say I play offline to prevent any network lag, but na.. I'm just too lazy some days to hit the other button and put my password in.. so ya lazy..

Anyways.. I noticed that it was playing with the stable version and not using the PTE version. Is there a way to play offline and make it use the PTE version?

start pa.exe of the pte files directly

I suppose making a desktop shortcut to that file would indulge my lazy side. Thanks @cola_colin
