Nuke ranging

The last time I checked, nukes could only be sent to planets that were in orbit of eachother, however the other day, the AI nuked me to death (from relatively large distance too I might add). I hadn't been able to launch a nuke at him, so I was left thinking "what the ****??? What kind of cheat code does the AI have that allows that bullshit?!"

Anyone have an answer to this? Because I'm left quite dumbfounded...

That limitation has been removed quite a while ago.

Maybe you didn't notice, I just said I wasn't able to send a nuke at him/her/it

Then you were doing something wrong. Simple as that.

What could I possibly be doing wrong??? Seriously, it's as simple as select the nuke launcher when it's ready, select attack, and click a location

I even tested to make sure the nuke could be fired on my own planet, with success, so tell me, what could I have possibly done wrong, huh??

Try and replicate the circumstances in which you say this bug occurred.

Sometimes it fails for me too, but it works if you try an area-command nuke, if you make the area size of that one nuke.

I'll try that and see if it works
