So summer school attacked and I wandered off for a while, and now I'm thinking of putting more time back into this. One of the things I noticed was, in the keyboard shortcuts section there is something like this, HACKS SETARMY FROM HOVER [ctrl+b] COPYUNIT [ctrl+c] PASTEUNIT [ctrl+v] TOGGLE FOW [ctrl+j] I'm not surprised to see this, I basically suggested something a little more comprehensive a while back, but I'm really surprised to see that no one has commented on this. Or talked about how to use it, say in a vs CPU game. Am I just searching for the wrong stuff? If so plz give me a linky and the search terms you used, if not, whats up with this, and how do we activate the copy and paste unit features?
This is unavailable to players as of the moment. Until you can run your own server, they won't matter, as cheats are always disabled 100% of the time on the UberNet servers. Uber was thinking about adding an option for cheating-enabled games, but that could create predictable problems, most of them related to stupid.
Id find it fun if playing with friends with agreed upon balances in place but everyone using their own designed armies and units. Nothing serious. But sometimes i think about making my own full scale unit mod and/or adventure style single player. Not based on the everyone own armies thing, the mod i considered is actually making a whole new unit list made around building blank units and customizing them with modules of specific technology, replacing existing units.
