Not working since Steam

I was hoping someone could help me get hings running again.

With the first versions, it all worked fine. From the moment I used the Steam key and and transferred to the Steam system, I got the "PA.exe stopped working" error.
I've tried many things already, searching the forums for potential solutions, but nothing worked.

Updated to newest Catalist drivers (2013/12/18) and checked sound card drivers as well, still no effect.
DirectX is at version 11. The soundcard drivers are up to date.
MS .NET 4.5

So, does it work with the non steam version?

It did, but to my understanding the non-steam version key doesn't work anymore from the moment you get it on Steam. Unless I'm mistaken...

Even with Steam you can still run pa.exe from somewhere within the steam folders.

You need to link your UberNet account with Steam here:
https://uberent.com/user/linksteam
Then you should able to use non-Steam version again.

@cola_colin tried that as well, both 32 and 64 bits. No success

It does make me wonder why Steam somehow doesn't work.

Come back on forums in new year and PM me (or I'm PM you if not forgot).
When devs will be available we'll able to to investigate why game not starting though Steam for some players.
