    Give your specs please.
Have you verified your game cache in steam? Right click on the game, Properties, Local Files

You can delete the game with a right click too ("Delete Local Content"), but first check your game cache, often that will help.

I tried the game verification, and it says i have one missing file, but nomatter how many times i run it it still says i have one missing file.. No idea as to why

As for my compter specs It has a pentium dual core CPU with 2.60GHz and 6gigs of ram memory, And its a 64 bit operating system if that helps.
    Thanks for the help!

Well I would try to delete and reinstall the game then. To delete the game you right click the game and hit delete local content, then after it should be grayed out. Double click on it, re-download it and see what happens.

Wow this is starting to bug me i've deleted the local content and redownloaded it and i'm still having the same problem, Goddamn vista is stupid. I've tried to verify my game again and i'm still missing that one file.... Anyone have suggestions? I've looked it up on the steam troubleshooting and i have updated my windows, it really had no effect.

Maybe try your luck in the Monday Night Combat Support Thread? Your problem seems kind of unorthodox, i doubt that the people in general discussion can help you.

I've had similar experiences with other games. As it turns out, my firewall was the crook. As instead of just denying the games access to the internet, it froze the games entirely.

This was a long time ago, when I was using the Zonealarm firewall and AV program, I think. I had to manually allow the games to be played and get access to the internet.

I have since changed to Nod32.

You might wanna check your OS firewall and any third party software firewall you've got installed.

    Just my 2c.

So i played around with my security settings and that does not seem to be the problem, I've also done everything in the Support thread on steam, But my account just received the ability to post so i'll be posting there shortly, But from what i see that thread is for Windows XP, I happen to be running Vista (Silly me) If that changes anything, Thanks for all the help though it's appreciated
