I have noticed myself write large forum replies to end up going nah nobody wants to see this / can't be arsed and then deleting the whole thing. Does everyone so this or am I a big weirdo? Or am I a big weirdo but everyone also does this.
Yup, not uncommon. It actually irks me a bit that that whole text is auto-saved and I have to look at it every time I visit that thread.
I only post maybe 1/10th of what I write on here. Often it's just to vent or giving an opinion just for the sake of giving one. When I realise that's all my post is doing it gets deleted there and then. But yes you are a weirdo Clopse. The best possible kind of weirdo. Now put your pants back on.
I do this more often than I'd like to, on all of the forums I visit. And Facebook. And Twitter. And that government site where I report online wrongdoing. Wait.
I think this is normal. I don't go through the trouble of actually writing anything down though, unless I know what I want to say. That effectively means I read a thread, think about it, and then come back about 10 minutes later with a response.
It's okay, sometimes there's just something in itching to spit out or I see there is a post no one's replied too, then I get scared people will judge so I delete it ahahahah. You're fine clopse
@clopse, this is an interesting question which can be viewed from many angles and... *EDIT: No I never do this*
So that feature has been introduced just yesterday. That clearly wasn't there before, right? Right?!? I need to press more buttons to see what they do...
Sometimes the act of typing a long rant is much more satisfying than actually posting it. I only post maybe half of what i write.
