Every game of Crossfire I play now, I get the worst possible team.

First, they all play as the same class, such as assassin's or support.

Secondly they never build turrets. Then I'm there spending all of the match gaining enough money, not for myself but to build and upgrade turrets and bots.

    It's ridiculous.

Everyone's a Support and no one's building turrets?

Yep, no one. One of them did build a the $25 one. Not upgraded, not hacked. Of course it gets taken down quickly.

I know it's not the games or Ubers fault. It's just sad that some people are treating like a one man show.

I love when this happens to me, because then when I build all the turrets I get all the turret kills!

Sometimes I just build long-shot turrets and play more defensively; those long-shots can bring in a fairly steady stream of income.

Yea I have started to notice this today. Both my team and a few matches later the other team. I've had it so bad lately that what usually happen is the 'Sins are running past everything just to try and either get their sniper or try to be the hero by taking the opposing Moneyball down. It's ridiculous how selfish gamers are these days. The way some of them play you would think they thought they were playing Solo with expert AI Pros. This is why I don't play so much w/out some friends.

Isn't it a pain trying to fend off the Bot line that is marching straight to your Moneyball while their Pros just gun you down. It's even more of a pain that this is happening on one side while on the other side it's a Sniper and Assassin not even trying to help out. Instead working on their k/d ratio. This has made me wonder what are they doing with all that extra cash. I mean at least spawn some bots to help out.

Another thing that really bothers me is the lack of players using a mic. Why would you play a game based around teamwork and not communicate.

True, but the snipers bots are useless. He could at least hold the pros and bots back.

    That is baffling.

Obv I don't want to hear kids talking **** and everything, but I assume most people are more interested in coordinating attacks and defense instead.

Lack of mic talk can also be blamed on party chat, since it was added to xbox live it's taken over a lot of in-game chatter in many games.

To be fair, it doesn't hurt that a lot of people on Live are twits who harass people. Party chat allows you to pick who you want to talk to. Not to mention, a lot of people don't want to play as a team anyway.

Of course, I have the opposite problem from PandaOracle. I consistently get guys who rush out and buy Rockets at level one and then just leave them there, taking up a spot, never being upgraded, etc. It seems like poor wisdom to me, especially on the maps where those turrets don't seem to get many kills. Well, map.

I'm always in party chat with my partner because no one else is ever in game chat. That being said, I might be the most defensive Assassin ever. I build Lazer3's all over the place and kill people who attack them, going around 16:1 or 16:2 every game. My partner spends the whole game healing them and goes 1:12 with a good 25 assists. Due to the complete lack of communication in MNC, every match ends up being like Blitz with human enemies until overtime. Then it's just a game of standing on top of the enemy spawn building and killing their ball.

Would I trade that ratio for a team with mics? In a heartbeat. But then we'd steamroll every match because the other team's a bunch of mutes.

As to turrets, I spent so much money on turrets and bots that I'll often get to the end of the match without having upgraded any of my skills. I also end almost every game with the most money and usually have one of the higher kill counts (not to mention all the bots and enemy turrets I and my turrets/bots take out.) The way I see it is less people building turrets is more kills for me.

As far as nobody talking goes, I agree that it's probably down to party chat. I play with between one and three other guys and we're always partied up. I feel sort of bad for the other guys we get teamed with, but it's worth it to still be able to chat with my friends when we inexplicably get split between two different teams. (also, when the game invariably boots everyone to the main menu because the host ragequit and the game fails at migrating hosts)

yeah this made me rage while still picking up the game (was waitn on friends to purchase) but now with a good 6 man team behind me we have been doing some serious damage we might not win every game but as for teamwork its great and losses are usually only due to superior players/tactics

but the rambo's and ppl who refuse to pay for turrets is the biggest killer i mean seriously whats the point in playing when the game is over in 2 mins cuz your too tight to spend some extra cash setting up the base rather than yourself

As for players with no mic's there are a variety of reasons ppl dont have/use them ie: Deaf ppl etc not every1 has 1 and not every1 can use 1 so dont get angry about that

But on that point sometimes ppl with mics are just as bad upon losing a game last nite i was saying good game to our opponent's only to get royaly flamed i mean seriously bad gamership there any1?

That'd be because Support has too many offensive capabilities. It's as much of a "Support" than almost any class except assassins.

No one upgrades rocket turrets at spawn. Because if someone hacks lvl 3 rockets we all lose.

Proposal: Make the turret final upgrade 500 instead of 800. Kinda no point if i can buy an anihilator and a juice(much more worth it)

    Yup,
Its not the games fault though
Too many CoD People still not used to playing a game like this.

    I come from Tf2,
    Kinda Used to it.

But in the end just look for good team mates, With mics, Add them and just play with em,

Off spawn ask everyone to build one lazer blazer level 3, which is like what no more then 200?
ANd then they have enough for one skill.

Oh man, this is so true. Very rarely do people even bother buying turrets. They rather spend it on themselves. And then Jackbots just take down the turrets really quick anyways.

That and whenever I'm playing, the only other people with mics will be my friends. No one else (and every now and then, some guy [who tends to be a jerk] on the other team [like that helps]).

it is very sad. people rather spend money to upgrade themselves rather than on turrets. and there are WAAAAAY too many assassins in the game.

why do people play like this in every online game? its really annoying

when a match starts, i upgrade myself once, build a longshot turret, and spawn a bot. and 90% of the time i have the most money/kills and the end. why? because i build turrets, and whose in last place? the assassins and snipers who do nothing to contribute

Last game I played without a party, I spent half the game with nobody else talking and one guy, who clearly had a mic, just breathing heavily into it. I mean, damn, if you're going to make a lot of noise, at least you can talk.

Some of the people I get paired off with are like, the worst teammates ever. I'll get pinned against the glass, used as cover as a support by a tank, have three support guys next to me while I'm being hosed and have nobody think it might be a good idea to heal me, or end up being the only one trying to escort the bots instead of trying to snipe the other team and getting slaughtered doing it. And since nobody's on mics, you can't communicate. I mean, you can talk to them, but there's no guarantee they'll hear you, let alone listen, and they can't (or won't) respond. Grrr.

I like playing with parties, because at least my friends talk on the mic. Which is even funnier when we get split up.

One time when the game split one of my friends from the rest of us, another friend was frantically yelling at him, "Look out, someone's setting up a firebase directly behind you!"

Seconds later the friend on the other team died, killed by the firebase of the friend who had just "warned" him.
