There isn't really anything to comment on, it's barely a couple of sentences. We only get as much out of an idea as you put into it in the first place you know? Mike
well it's suppose to be about what everyone would like to see, so commenting on weather it's a good idea or not is our responsibility, and that was simply put an idea, ment for expansion or contraction
Well your competing with almost 500 other posts filled with ideas, many of which have thought put into them than yours to be honest. You didn't put much effort into the original idea, don't you think it's a little weird to expect everyone else to put in more than you did? Mike
I believe in KISS, keeping it simple stupid, and I'm not talking about you lol and I kept it simple for a reason, sure o thers have put in more thought, then again I could spend a couple hours writing up a 9 page description of a few unit ideas, but PA is in Beta for a reason, no point in making things more complex then they already are.
But you still need to explain things regardless of how simple(or not) the thing is. Saying "EMP Cannon" on it's own is practically worthless because different people have different ideas about that that is. You might think it means that a unit stops doing everything for a set amount of time. but I think it means that means it can still keep doing things but slower/sporadically. How does it 'reduce air damage' and what does that even mean? Lets play a game so you see whats going on from my perspective; I'm thinking of a new weapon, the Bear Claw. Now tell me what it is. Mike
IMO, if you're going to EMP something that flies - it should stop flying and crash into the ground like a rock.
I don't feel like debuffs have a place in TA / Supcom / PA Now if we're talking a sort of splash damage Anti-Air flak cannon, then i'm with u. If any sort of EMP weapon would be in the game i'd imagine it to actually EMP instead of do damage, such as shutting down energy plants and factories.
reminds me of cybran t1 arty in FA that could stun air by randomly hitting it. Hit planes would just stand still in the air. Looked quite funny.
The Medusa (that exact T1 arty for those not familiar with FA) tagging aircraft is actually the inspiration for this. Good to see that I'm not the only one who's experienced it.
it actually decided some games I had when medusas hit t1 gunships on winter duel. They made for good aa in those cases
