Made it to 296 last night with 1 support, 2 tanks, and an assassin. It was total mayhem. I really want to get to the 400 mark! Tried a new turret setup as well that worked decently. Two back turrents on both sides are Ice. Everything else is rockets. Firebase on the front lane. Hack the ice turrents and the rockets in front of the raised platform. Everyone held a lane. It worked pretty well but was really frantic. I've got a couple other ideas I want to try with a four person setup, but I need a little blitz break first. It's tiring.
nice. i personaly havent tried, but if you could make a tutorial of some kind explaining the set ups it'd be cool.
We were actually trying to reclaim the #1 spot after grindout took it away from us. When we saw 296 we thought we were royally boned. And seeing as we went from 206 to 392 in our next try, I don't doubt that others will jump over us in similar fashion quite soon. I'd like to but I've already got a group of guys that play Plus if I ever got a higher highscore than them they'd probably kill me 2 supports 1 assassin (which is > than tank for this, IMO) and one shaveice in a front position close to the moneyball (much greater effect there) everything else rockits. Plus our new jackbot round tactics that we're keeping to ourselves for now I don't think that our actual class setup was as important as the number we had or what we did; I think 3 is the best, one for each lane. 4 players nabs you an extra gun but the bots just get tougher. We actually tried 3 assassins prior to that and we were decimating bots easily, but the second a gapshot round hit and we had to run for them our lanes would get overwhelmed without hacked turrets. It'd be interesting to see how 1 support 2 assassins worked out, which is what we were going to try next.
GJ Arbac! Can't believe someone on my friends list can do that kind of thing. Also, my reaction to Rhineville & company making 392:  followed by :?: followed by
I agree with you that 3 is the best.. we have tried all combo's, and I am amazed they got to 296 or whatever with 4 people... I can figure out what turrets you had hacked, but a new jackbot strategy? I wanna know what it could be... or how different it could be.. the only thing I can think of is what I do in solo blitz by grappling the jackbot as a support to stop him from shooting that could be the trick... haha but in all seriousness it would be fun to play with you and your buds or something for fun, just cuz it seems like they understand blitz, and only a few people I have seen actually understand how strategic and perfectly run blitz has to be to go far
Yah I can never stay alive as an assassin. I've been wanting to try 2 tanks and a support and then just hope that the jackbot rounds are kind to us
You'll be happy to know we actually got that far on a botched run; we got killed by buzzer spam just before the big wave of white and red blackjacks hit and couldn't get to the annihilator. We lost half of our ball on that one round. We won't miss it next time. It's on
I've gotta stay at work later than usual today, but I'm down to give it a try this evening if you're around. *fingers crossed for us*
