New players vs Old players

What is the deal with all these new players and their undeserved ego's? I've never seen such average players be more oblivious and obnoxious. Although I was not a big fan of the top players of old their skill was undeniable, everyone who hated sigmar still knew he could take your head off, everyone who hated Chaos still knew he could get you at any moment and as obnoxious and annoying shammas was he could still compete as basically any class. That fear/respect is not there for these new guys, and I think everyone will have at least one example of a new guy like I'm describing now.

And this is were my rant will end and discussion can begin. Name one person who you think fits into the description of the "New Players."

I'm not sure what we're discussing in this thread. Are we talking about putting new players in their place? Is that what this is about? If so, I'd like to talk about something else...model airplanes perhaps. If not, please clarify.

Sorry this was my first try lol. Fail womp womp. But what the discussion was supposed to be about was what new player do you think is the most annoying based on their ego to skill ratio. My reference to the old players was merely to state that even if I had a problem or disliked some of the old players i still respected their game. But with these new players its soley dislike and annoyance for me.

No although people will always tend to favor themselves and put themselves on an undeserved pedistal, it has become increasingly worse as more new players have come in. I watched a youtube vid where a guy who i will not name said he owned tom121121212 or w.e. But he just spent the whole game dieing and camping........he killed tom once in an 18 minute vid. Enough said, its getting out of control.

Oh, that. Puerto Rican has been around under different aliases since release. He's pretty good. Him and Tom just don't see eye to eye as far as the objective of the game. Tom will buy juice about once a week, whereas Puerto buys it whenever it's off cool down. Both good players, just big differences in playstyle.

Yeah, but its like every single game basically has someone whose sending hate mail or taunting everyone and in all my time playing this game ive never seen it as bad as it is right now.

I am not getting any of that. It seems like the same MNC to me. Maybe I don't get a lot of trash talk because I havent played like a so called tryhard in months. :?

What player whether a teammate or an enemy made u a better player?

Mine was sigmar (who was an enemy) because with him in his prime if u made a mistake u were dead so playing against him really made me a smarter player and thats what i think sets me apart from most assassults.

14-2 with 7 melee kills is my record.
Edit: I've drawn first blood with a melee on a Gunner directly under the enemy Moneyball 20 seconds into a game.

I think the person/s that made me a better player was GP/H&S. Contrary to what most people thought, they were very cool people and very helpful to those who were willing to listen.

...Also, please note that I rarely try. I'm getting close to my 500th 'Humiliation' tag pretty quick and I can't be bothered to multitask, i.e. bots, pros, tourettes. If you're looking for someone to push bots and sh*t, look elsewhere...at least for now.

I understand what you mean when you say you watch out for old players more. I still know in a fair confrontation I can take out anyone. I know that if I am sneaky enough I nearly have 100% odds (like any game).

But generally, being a player who can hold their own, I don't mind a challenging target to approach, I have confidence I can make results.

I find new players with skill plenty of time. I just also find them making terrible mistakes as well. Old players have the skills, without the blunders. Blunders include:

-Standing still firing at a weaker target, and getting out-damaged cuz they stood still
-Chasing targets into thier own base, especially assaults chasing weak tanks around corners and getting full-comboed
-Approaching more enemies and while doing so leaving behind the safety of your team, and getting 5v1ed
-Weakly armored and stading with weakly armored teammates, as an enemy tank charges, sending them all to the spawn and throwing away all the map territory they gained
-Supports not healing, just running around with shotgun. No matter how good you are, you can go vassly positive and still lose the game in a landslide doing this.

Old players don't ever do this. If they do any of this, is for lulz when they are confident they already won. Or when they are as bored as JON or me.
