Hello everyone. I've been following this game since it's kickstarter but enver decided to pick it up. After a few years, yesterday i decided to buy it on Steam Sales. After trying it on Galactic War, i have to say i'm completely lost. I get raided all the time and i can't keep up with the AI and my frustration is bigger the more i play. Any suggestions to get started before i get pissed and throw away my computer through the window?
I'd also suggest trying out some custom games in 'skirmish' mode. Play against 1 AI (on normal) on a single planet. That's best way to learn the basics (galactic war can throw you in the deep end a bit). Also note in Skirmish you have an extra option to slow the AI down a bit more, by adjusting the number next to the AI when you add it (this is eco modifier, 1.0 is normal eco, reducing this will give the AI less eco which makes it slower, if your having problems try setting it to 0.5).
