I'm playing the game for the first time today and so far I'm having fun. The game is breezy, colorful, and well-paced. Although I think the tutorial is hugely underdone.

I'm slowly getting the hang of the game but I still have a bunch of newb (not noob, hopefully) questions.

    1. The items I can pick up seem to be; coins-money, blue rocks(?)-juice, red rocks-?, something crunchy?-?, red fruit-juice. What are the missing items here?

    2. How do the money deductions (taxes, inflation) at the end of the round work?

    3. I can see that I'm gaining levels. How does xp work? What does levelling up do for me in this game?

    4. Are all the attributes just those 3 bars I see? Can I see them in number form?

    5. I've not tried any PvP yet as obviously I'm still figuring out the game. When I do, which is the easiest to start with? I'm hoping to minimize the "OMG you suck!" comments afterwards.

    6. There's two short bars on the screen, one floating aways above my head, and another in the lower left. The floating one is stamina? a shield? and the other is...health? The floating bar seems to slowly regen, but how do I restore the lower bar?

    7. Do the dropped items (coins, juice, etc) only stay there for a limited time? It seems a bit of a pain to kill a bot from a ways away but still have to run over there to get a coin, especially on one of the slower classes.

    8. I noticed there's a very long range mortar bot. What is the best long range counter for this?

    9. The jumpad usage is obvious, but not so the injector? Are there other pads?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    1. Following items can be picked up: Money, juice-boxes, churros, speed endorsements, juice bot thingies
    2. Every player on the winning team gets 1000$ more
    3. XP is earned through money. Higher level means nothing except for lvl 100 where you become an all-star and can start all over again.
    4. Don't really know what you mean (the skills maybe?).
The attributes are called endorsements: Health regen, Rate of Fire, Armor, Speed, Juice, Accuracy, Critical Chance, Clip size, Skill recovery, reload speed.
    5. Play a little bit of Blitz and read guides.
    6. The one floating is your health. The one on the bottom is the juice bar. Fill it up and you get juiced.
    7. The items disappear after a certain amount of time.
    8. Long range? The gunner mortar I guess, but the gapshot is easier to kill in medium or close range.
    9. The ejector throws pros around (and hopefully rings them out) and deals a good amount of damage. Except for those too there is the annihilator (deals heavy amount of damage to bots and medium amount to pros) and the juice vendors where you can buy juice.

First, let me commend you for going to the forums. It's a great way to learn. May your career as a Pro be filled with much bacon.

Feel free to peek around the starting menu. If you look in the Help section, You'll find the Playbook, a quick guide to all the characters, bots, and turrets.

Also, click the credits. I will bet anything that you will love it.

These three bars are just a basic overview. They aren't very accurate. Once you get a better understanding of the game these three bars will become pointless.

    5. I've not tried any PvP yet as obviously I'm still figuring out the game. When I do, which is the easiest to start with? I'm hoping to minimize the "OMG you suck!" comments afterwards.
Monday Night Combat only has two game modes. Blitz which is 4 player co-op and Crossfire which is 6v6 PvP. Both share the same basic objective protect your Moneyball for being destroyed. In Crossfire both teams are fighting to destroy each other Moneyball. In both Blitz and Crossfire all it takes is two bots to attack your Moneyball to drop it's shields. Bots are the only enemy who can drop a Moneyball's shields.

As for getting started I would suggest playing plenty of Blitz with each Pro as a way to learn their in's and out's. If you don't want to go through all of that try Tank or Support.

The bar that floats directly above your Pro's (aka player) head is your health. The bar in the lower left of the screen is the health for you Moneyball. Also on this bar is a shield icon, this will indicate if the Moneyball shields are on or off. When the Moneyball's shields are off the Moneyball itself will be exposed on the ground. When shields are active it will be floating. After the Moneyball has lost it's shields it will need to not take damage for 30 seconds for it to be restored.

The rest will come with trial and error....or our awesome and helpful users!
    ;)

    Have Fun!
Hope you Enjoy Monday Night Combat!
