    After the new patch my fps has dropped considerably in fire fights or when there are lots of bots. I'm running a simple HP laptop set-up so I don't expect great visuals, but before the patch I had very good framerates and minimal drops during fights. Steam updated and now MNC is near unplayable. anyone have any clues as to what might have changed. I know the patch reset configs, I have since set them back to where I had them.

    Things i have messed with in the config: (pre-patch and now)
    Changed debris lifetime from 60.0 to 10.0 (helped a lot pre-patch)
    Changed resolutions to 800x600
    Turned off movies
    Change MaxDynamicChunkCount from 1000 to 700
    bSmoothFrameRate=FALSE (because why would I need it)
    MinSmoothedFrameRate=22
    MaxSmoothedFrameRate=70 (from 300)

    If you disable smoothframerate it makes no sense to provide min and max values, you need smoothing to prevent a severe bug that occurs above 90fps - your movement will go bonkers if you exceed that amount of frames per second.

    They altered some material things but nothing that should mess up your perfomance, I noticed no dip in perfomance to say the least.
