So imagination has struck again..... will it be possible to move your asteroid or small moon into a new orbit around an entirely different host planet!? imagine moving a nicely crafted "battle station" if you will to the enemy planet where you dont have to wait ten minutes for interplanetary travel and your enemy has little chance of detecting what manner of doom you are slinging at him!!!!!! OH YEA!!! or you could just smash the planet with said asteroid, DUH!! so perhaps the target planet is to big for small asteroid to destroy.... or will any rock with engines regardless of size destroy any planet regardless of size forever??? But then again why not smash the intended target area of host planet with asteroid??? because like a smart player you have scouted the surface with advanced sat first and see the enemy has loads of anti asteroid def.....time to remove
I believe it was already confirmed that you will eventually be able to move an asteroid into a different orbit to use it as a staging area for invasion.
This has been mentioned as a possibility as far back as the time when the Kickstarter was still running in interviews. Mike
You guys again!!! thanks for clearing that up. I haven't seen to much Intel from the kick start stage. I found out about the spiritual ta sequel about a month after alpha started. So I might bring up things that have already been mentioned, BUT!!! Not without searching first of course....
This will be in the game. In fact, smashing won't behave like it does right now anyways. Orbits will be whiplashed around the sun.
