Hey guys, I'm new to MNC having bought the game just yesterday. I really need some help using the classes and some beginner tips & tricks on the maps, bots, turrets, classes, etc. If there are any basic guides for maybe assault to start off with would be great. I could do with some help as I'm completely new to the game and don't want to be a nub for long. Any tips on spending the money wisely on the classes, what exactly are the effects of self upgrades, etc. would be great. I could also do with some help online if anyone is interested. My GT - DntMessWitRohan.

*Please don't taunt me for not using the search, being new, etc. I just need some help and any help be it basic would be much appreciated

    Welcome! :)

There are tons of guides for all classes put together by some of the best players in MNC.

I have learned a lot by reading them.

You should be able to send friend request to anyone on here. Most of us are happy to help new players.

Gah I was typing a huge thing and my computer decided to force a restart for an update.
I'll give you a smaller summary now.

    Assault build:
    Gold Armor
    Silver Rate Of Fire
    Bronze Accuracy
    Buy order: Bomb 2, Passive 2, Charge 2, Bomb 3, Fly 2, Charge 3, Fly 3, Passive 3.

    Assassin Build:
    Gold Armor
    Silver Rate Of Fire
    Bronze Health Recovery
Buy order: Passive 2, Passive 3, Dash 2, Cloak 2, Cloak 3, Dash 3, Smoke Bomb 2, Smoke Bomb 3.

    Gunner Build:
    Gold Armor
    Silver Rate Of Fire
    Bronze Accuracy
    Buy order: Passive 2, Passive 3, Slam 2, Slam 3, Deploy 2, Grapple 2, Grapple 3, Deploy 3.

    Support Build(s):
Gold Rate Of Fire (Offensive) / Gold Skill Recovery (Defensive)
    Silver Armor
Bronze Skill Recovery (Offensive) / Bronze Rate Of Fire (Defensive)
Buy Order (Offensive): Fire Base 2, Hack 2, Hack 3, Airstrike 2, Passive 2, Airstrike 3, Firebase 3, Passive 3.
Buy Order (Defensive): Hack 2, Rockit turret on outer slot and hack it, Rockit turret on the other outer slot and hack it, Shave ices in the middle, Hack 3. Upgrade every turret and keep them hacked. (Note it is unlikely you will gather enough time/money to buy more skills after every turret has been upgraded) Airstrike 2, Firebase 2, Passive 2, Airstrike 3, Passive 3, Firebase 3. Turrets take priority over skills. (besides hack)

I can't really give advice for tank and sniper because I don't play them.
    Also, NEVER BUILD LAZERBLAZERS. EVER.

Send me a FR if you want me to explain further or just have someone decent to play with.

One tip I can give you is: find your own way to play this game. Of course, you can copy everyone's builds you find on Youtube (or the ones Futtbuck has posted) but the best is to find your own. For example, I learned a lot of the assault by watching Xeno's vids on youtube (which can be found HERE) so I tried his assault build.
Didn't work out for me, so I tweaked it and now I'm really good with assault! So it's a combination of learning and being creative yourself. Just find whatever builds, turrets or classes are right for you.

You can shoot me a friend request if you feel like it, my gt is IG THOMBOW. Have fun playing MNC!

By the way, we also have a questions thread which can be found HERE

I think this is probably the best Assault guide for newcomers. Very informative.

Thanks everybody for all the helpful tips and ideas. I seem to have done what you did yourself Dutch. I started playing around with the classes and their "sponsors"(is that what they are called). I seem to like the assault the most, second as gunner and third the assassin. I haven't played with most others yet but I will start opening myself to other classes once I get used to the base game. I keep toying with different loadouts and keep tweaking them like you said till I find something suitable for my playing style. I've gotten much better since the first day and I know my way around half the maps now. It would still be great to play with some guys from the forums. Thanks for all the thoughts guys, I appreciate it.

*I have one question for you, what is Annihilator. Is it the big glowing ball in the sky or the lightning that strikes or something. I've heard the announcer talk about it and I've got struck by it even when I was inside the safety of my base. :?:

The Annihilator is the lightning attack on your enemys bots. It will kill them all. Jackbots included.

The switch for it is in the middle of all maps.

It's funny cause I didn't know what it was for about a week.

I was playing Blitz, and I saw someone else use it.

Yes, the Annihilator is the lightning. It will hit you wherever you are, whenever you are.

By the way, I tried to invite you a couple of times today, but something went wrong I guess.

Yes it is the "glowing ball" in the sky and it's where the lightning comes from. Located at the center of each map indicated by a glowing exclamation point.(ejectors also look the same but have a different effect and location) Pressing the Annihilator cost $250 and will destroy all enemy bots and damage all enemy Pros,(players) it doesn't always kill Jackbot XL's in one hit but it will always deal a great amount of damage to them. The Annihilator has a 3 minute cooldown after being pressed.

Protip: While pressing the Annihilator button you will need to survive the whole animation for it to be successful, if you die in the process you will lose $250 and not activate the hazard.
