Size: 6 v 6 Each team has 1 mascot in which they are to protect from dying x number of times. Once the mascot has died x then the money balls shields are lost and it drops. During the game too the mascots are periodically dropping money and prizes. The mascot could either be a computer running around or a player, if a player then once he/she died a random player would become the mascot for the team. Criticism?
Thx, and yeah i agree. I havent found out a way yet for them to be in the game i tossed around a few ideas in my head but they took away the point of the mascot then. Maybe though their purpose could be to go after the mascot? any suggestions?
Oh hm... that would be a neat idea actually. I just thought of an adaptation of your idea: Five of the players on each team are player characters, and the sixth is Bullseye. The maps would be more open and lanes would be removed, and when bots spawn, they automatically go towards the opposing Bullseye, stopping to fight any bots or Pros along the way. Each base has a Vault, to which teams can deposit money. Bullseye can then use this money to build base defenses or spawn bots. Only Bullseye can create turrets in base or spawn bots (he gets a menu to spawn any bot he wants). You win by killing Bullseye more times than your opponents. I'd also imagine significantly longer respawning times to make the loss of a team member have a heavier impact on the team. You don't want this to turn into TDM.
Thats a really good idea, especially about the vault part. i like that. Itd have two primary objectives and also make teams work together more to accomplish both. What about other teams can also steal from the others vaults? And final money in the vault dictates a bonus to your payout?
Oh damn, that's an awesome idea. Place the Vault smack dab in the middle of the base where the Moneyball normally is, and you'd make stealing from the Vault a difficult but very rewarding task. Perhaps Bullseye can also set a "tax." Each time the player makes money, some of it is transferred into Bullseye's savings. To prevent griefing, the only tax settings should be 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%. Any higher would be too excessive.
Id say 30 percent would be a good and fair enough amount. you should probably get like 500-1000 dollars from stealing from the vault. And for killing bullseye say 500-750.
A way to deposit money in the Vault would be to either add your own money or the money collected from the opposing Bullseye would be added. I honestly think out of all the other Game Variants I heard this one sounds the best. [Edit] Bullseye would not be allowed passed those doors. If he tried intsa-death
