During the beta, you could use your gamepad to select a class, but it seems like this no longer works. I've had to use my mouse to open the class select screen at the start of the round, and also select my class with the mouse. Not a huge deal, but I play the game on my tv while sitting on my couch, which is far enough away from the computer that my wireless mouse doesn't like to work properly. So without the ability to ender the class choice menu with the gamepad, it's getting kind of frustrating. It would also be nice to be able to use the gamepad to view the score or open the class change menu after death/before respawn, but that isn't as big a deal.
Yeah, as the other dudes said - this is an annoying issue. The class/gear selection could be easily fixed by switching gear sets with the shoulder buttons and pressing start to begin. Fixing after-death buttons would be good, too.
