A very interesting twist on regular Crossfire. After the first minute of gameplay (During which it will play out like regular Crossfire), The top player on each team will be highlighted as the MVP (They won't get any bonuses, but they will glow with a gold coloring.) Each team will also have a "Runner-up"(Highlighted Silver). Instead of regular BlackJacks/Slims, The bots regularly coming out of the portals will be the ones related to the MVP at the regular intervals (ex., if the MVP is a Support, Longshots would come out, Assassin MVP=Gremlins, Assault MVP=Buzzers...) Anyone who pays to spawn bots will spawn a team of BlackJacks. As the objective will still be to destroy the Moneyball, BlackJacks will become much more valued in this game type. All players that arean't the MVP or the runner-up will garner slightly more money from everything (Like 5-10%). Killing the MVP will garner extra money (Extra 25 per kill). Thoughts?
The idea is very appealing to me. On a plus side, it'd remind folks in Crossfire that bots are as important as pros and also serve as a way to spice things up with the bots being a bigger threat than normal. On the downside...Wouldn't it begin to feel like Scramble Blitz with pros? I'd also imagine large numbers of buzzers or gremlins simply murdering the framerate.
Scramble Blitz with Pros sounds like fun. But you make a good point(s). Perhaps the special bots coming out of the portals switches every minute or so(Unrelated to the MVP)? There might still be a bit of a frame hassle, but it wouldn't last long, if at all.
It might not be too big of a deal depending on how often the bots would spawn. If the MVP class bot spawned out of one spawner every four or five bot spawns I don't think it would be an issue. I think it would be interesting to get a different mix of bots, but I can also imagine the support MVP of the a team paying for a few gap shots and getting a "Free" gap shot every few rounds keeping a steady stream of them coming effectively turret blocking the other team. So would the bots spawned generate money for the MVP similar to a bot "purchased" by the pros?
