This was a subtopic in the issue board but i think its a great idea. New stuff to spend money on. weapon effects designs. Support - Rainbows for heal, and a snake for hurt (i dont know just first to came to mind) Sniper - freeze could be gum everywhere instead of ice. Assassin - i like the party confetti idea. Tank - the grenade can show the Pitgirl swimsuit calendar all over the screen. Gunner - umm i dont know what effect, maybe his deployed facemask could change to a Jason mask? Assault - His grenade could look like a teddy bear! I love this idea, please show your support if you like it and feel free to make new suggestions.
The Gunner could fire energy bolts or something. I don't know. None of the ideas are particularly bad, but I'm not sure they're particularly good. Though perhaps the Assassin starts with scissors and upgrades to a chainsaw.
I am not saying my ideas are good, they are just the first ones to pop into my head. Something more to spend money on is the point. Special effects would be cool, new outfits are a good idea but they will get boring. These will to but I like the idea.
Airstrikes could be a holy hand grenade when you stick people. Not only do you get the "oh shi-" factor, you get a nice "Hallelujah! - BOOM" like in worms. :lol: Rather than snakes for hurt, maybe lightning bolts? I like the idea of random effects to buy, maybe even include it for turrets too? Not sure what turrets effects could be. :ugeek:
Instead of iceshaver it could be tar Lazer - a lot of options here Rocket - idk Longshot -could make the falling bomb sound, the whisle. Even new sound effects would be nice.
it would be more different things for the game to load and keep track of. the more classes there are with all different effects the slower the already laggy game will get character appearances changes aren't as much of a problem cuz they dont have the animations
I honestly can't understand why everyone keeps bitching about the "lag", 1 out of maybe 15 games will it get "laggy" and that's just a bad host. Its all the same effect just a new look. Just like the character's reskin. Stuff like this won't cause the "laggy" game to become more "laggy". Hell if your that worried about the "lagginess" they can just be effects on your screen. And if you say no one will get them then you are wrong. PC gamers reskin their games all the time even if they are the only ones to see the change.
Get on at the right time (9ish Eastern US) and you'll see some decent lag. Or, at least, I have. regularly. Which is a shame, because many of my friends are on then.
I have to admit, my net is 25/25. I can host a 54 player game and have less then 100ping between most players. That maybe why I almost never lag.
