Herro. I'm in the process of building a new design community with a few web design buddies of mine. More or less, it's going to allow all designers of all sorts of media (digital/nondigital art, motion graphics, web design, programming, etc.) to come to one place to sell their creations and such, connect with people that need custom projects done, and interact with other designers. The cool thing about it is that it's going to get rid of the 'big business' aspect. People can filter based on a feedback rating system, so it doesn't matter how big your name is. People are going to find you based on your talent. Anyhoo. Design is going well, but we're stuck without a name, and I can't go back to the CoC until I have one. Ideas on a name for a collective design community, anyone? We need halp. :[
I'm glad you think so! Its really gonna be cool, even just within this community. We have a ton of talented artists here that could make money doing what they do, if they wanted to. This new design portal allows people like that to shine based on their skill.
