If they ever introduced a new class to play in a future DLC what would you want it to be? I was thinking something with medium to heavy armor that has damage over time abilities and health drains would be cool to play. Not sure how viable it would be haha. Or maybe something like a cross between a rogue and an assault. just without the invisibility. Ideas?
Personally I think that'd be a pain in the *** to play test and introduce. I think it's like an established ecosystem with predators and prey then suddenly you drop in a mecha. I dunno about anyone else but I feel comfortable with what Uber's done to change the classes since launch. It could be Gunner sniping and Support juicing all over again in a different light. Overall I feel pretty meh about it.
Yeah I know what you mean. I'm not saying I think they SHOULD introduce a new class but if they did I was just wondering peoples ideas. It would be hard to put in a new class that isn't repetetive and is still very balanced with all the other classes.
Oh, sorry, I misread that opening sentence. Mmmmm... but I got nothing really. I once remember someone talking about something more bot oriented, moreso than the Support's passive 2 effect, but after that, I got nothing. His idea revolved around doing something like the Support's hack to your friendly bots for extra benefits.
Hm I don't know really. I don't think there needs to be a new class. Who knows maybe they might not be able to add a new one in with current engine or something. You've got the damage, the healers, the stealthy class, the long range, the "all-rounder", the tanker...You don't really need something new. But if there was for sure going to be one and there was a poll and such, I guess I'd go for kind of more bot/tower involved class which can add effects to pros, bots and towers. Maybe boost stats for certain amounts of time. Make people invisible or something. Something like that.
Something that counters the assault :x Everything has a hard counter except him. Would have defenses against bullets ("kinetic shield"? Toggle-able like the assassin's cloak that could slightly reduce damage from bullets) to protect itself from the sniper/assault/gunner. Kinetic shield upgrades to prevent itself from knockback effects when active to protect against grenades. Passive could upgrade to negate damage received from crits to further counter the assault. It could use some AOE weapons so it could throw the assault around and counter his small size and speed. heavier guys wouldn't get tossed and are big targets anyhow. Could be a poor close in fighter (AOE would hurt him as well) so countered by tank/assassin. Just a wacky idea.
