I have a couple ideas I wanted to share. shredder: advance anti-air, anti-bot defense chaingun tower. since the gatling cannon uses bullets, it could be used for both air and land defense. gat tank: smaller version of the shredder gun mounted to a t1 or t2 tank frame. rail gun tower: advance anti-armor tower. rail gun bolt would damage multiple units in its path. bolter tank: as you figured, rail gun tank. trebuchet tank: fires one large tomahawk type missle lauched from a tank frame and flies towards its target. Instead of hitting the ground it breaks apart in mid air (air burst) and drops bomblets for AOE damage. kk im done lol.
You know, naming your unit ideas is fairly counterproductive. Unless you give Uber five thousand dollars, giving your unit idea a name is only going to ensure it gets called anything but the name you suggested, since they seem pretty adamant on not giving the kickstarter backers the shaft.
I dont see anywhere in my post telling uber to use those names, they are examples. Your troll like post is the only thing counter productive here.
I knew there was a reason I never named anything... But seriously. Any combination of bullet size, damage output, health, speed, and cost is kiddie stuff. Even Uber can figure that out. Weapon directionality and physics have a place in making slightly interesting units. There is still much unexplored in this area, but the results can be seen in other games and PA's predecessors to varying degrees. Going beyond that takes some exotic stuff, and there is none of that here. But hey. If you see something really neat from another game, don't be afraid to point it out. Cool ideas don't come from nothing.
