Nerf Jackbot health in solo SSDB, Buff Jackbot health in SDB

    I love to play Blitz as if it's a third-person tower defense game, and love trying different turret setups and positions. However, when playing SSDB solo as I usually do, anytime I get 2 Jackbot rounds within 5 consecutive rounds, it's a death sentence. I can handle 5 Jackbots focusing down my Rockit turrets one by one, what I can't handle, is how much it takes to bring them down when only 2 turrets are within firing range of said Jackbots.

    On a related note, how about buffing Jackbot health in SDB? When I can get over 1000 completed rounds without putting in any real effort, but can rarely break 120 in SSDB, I think there's a bit of a balance issue. Maybe it's that Sprintz is much larger than Survivitol, and that gives turrets more time to fire on Jackbots before they become a major threat. Maybe it's that on Sprintz only 2 spawn down the center as opposed to the 5 that spawn in every lane on Survivitol. Maybe it's the larger number of turrets on Sprintz compared to Survivitol. Maybe it's that Sprintz was balanced with the original Rockit price of 200/400/800 and that balance was broken when the Rockit price dropped to 150/300/600. Maybe it's the damage buff Rockits got with Spunky Cola Special. Maybe it's a lot of things, but when in one mode I'm begging for Jackbots to end a 4+ hour run, and in another I'm begging for no Jackbots to end a 30 minute run, something just seems off.

    super was supposed to imply a difference in difficulty. however, what you said does make sense about the rokkit turret buff as well as its price reduction making regular easier. but regular should stay kinda easy, as most tower defence games are, and super should stay hard, as most SUPER modes of tower defence games are.

    i liked this much since spunky cola at least...

    Riddle me this: If 5 Jackbots spawn in solo SSDB, and 5 Jackbots spawn in 4 player SSDB, which is going to have a harder time taking down 5 Jackbots?

    I am aware that SSDB is supposed to be harder than SDB, but IMO the difficulty gap between the two is greater than it should be at the solo level simply because of round 100+ Jackbots.

    I used to think like this - I sort of still do. However earlier today I played solo and for the first time I survived two successive Jackbot attacks rebuilt my lost turrets and continued on many rounds. It is possible, but very hard.
