I'm trying to run Highly Responsive to Prayers on my PC and the result is this: Here's the problem: This game was released in 1996 for an old foreign OS (Basically, I'm using an emulator to play). In order for it to run on my computer, I first have to click on the anx: Which gave me that Anex86 - Setting window way up above ^ ^ ^ I basically have to put in .hdi files in both fields, but I only have one and the result is a clear but garbled game. Help?
Get the other .hdi file? Are you running x64 OS? If so, you are running the Anex86 emulator in an emulated x86 environment. It will cause bad things. Nothing you can do to fix that other than get a native 64 bit version, which is almost impossible. Do other games work? Try Right Click->Run as Administrator. This is not the same as BEING an administrator, it changes what you need permission for and allows ceretain memory things to be done. Try Right Click->Properties->Compatability and mess around with options there. Did it work in WinXP? If so, then try XP Mode (pro, ultimate, and enterprise 7 only) and load your emulator on it, then try it that way. Failing that, VMWare Desktop might work if you have the hardware, and they have a free/demo version. Otherwise, try a different emulator. Assuming this is in fact for PC98 series, T98-Next is the only other one I could find and it appears to be the better emulator, espesially with sound. I really liked it except for the yoga part, it kicked my ***! :shock: Also, if you want to just capture the window you are working with so you don't have to edit out your real name (you missed a spot) then do ALT+PRINT SCREEN.
