A lot of people i meet just state that naval sucks and its better to dominate water with air...well thats not very good isnt it, when a lot of the community is against naval atm. Now typically theres a post with "I have the best idea!" and everyone nuking that down.... so i decided a poll to the community would be better This is more of a question then a real balance change, does naval need change? because im coming across a lot of people who hate naval. Then there are some who find parts OP, like naval range (although i disagree, their response is noted)
Naval is the odd one out from vehicles, bots, and air. I've noticed that, early game, if you don't have more orcas or narwhals than your opponent, you lose. There's no way around it; the ships are too powerful to defend against with just a commander, and can last for a long amount of time. The obvious downside is that they cost a ton of metal, but there's no way to know when to start producing them, so while your economy may be suffering, your opponent will be overwhelmed regardless. As for T2, it's an exaggerated form of T1. Each ship costs half a nuke and can kill a commander in little more than three shots. In games where you can access your opponent by water, T2 naval is almost always the game ender.
Actually when playing on water maps I find naval crushes air, That T2 ship with that anti air cannon is insane.
