It would be nice if PA included this feature. The unit naming that you could do in SupCom was a lot of fun and useful at times. It helped you keep track of certain units, have some laughs, and occasionally intimidate your opponents. It's a pretty small feature and not so important compared to some of the other features, but still something that would be nice to see again.
I once created three monkey lords, and I named them One, Two, and Four. I also name my Buildings after famous landmarks, and my ACU / Commander to whatever the **** crosses my mind. Like, "I'm not Thygrrr" or "Don't snipe me, bro".
