My request is to bring back the TF2 items for a price maybe or somthing just cause i only ever see people wearing them maybe for in game currency or for money, I just love to be able to buy them cause they just look so much better compared to most other skins we currently can use.
It is Beta gear, maybe they will unlock it for normal players in a year or so, but I doubt that they will piss off beta testers yet.
IMO i don't think the TF2 gears aside from maybe the gunner and tank ones look better or fitting than the other ones btw, i have no idea how you two deduced he actually meant the beta gear lol
lol, I was thinking the same thing, why are those two talking about Beta gear? But anyways, I dont think it would look good for MNC if it implements microtransactions. People would flip out and say it's just like Manconomy store for TF2, and really, microtransactions never makes any game look good. The TF2 items were a promotional item, and just as the Card Board Tube Samurai is right now, and I'm sure they will have more promo items in the future.
Anyone play Runescape? What will probably happen I believe, is that there will be skins anyone can have, maybe skins you can unlock through achievements... and skins that will show the duration a player has owned the game. Beta will be like holiday items in Runescape for 1999. Valentine's day will be like holiday items for 2002. I think eventually they will be unlockable, but at least for a year or more, they will be unique to the longest owners of the game. Sorry. Guess maybe one day they could find a way to force-unlock beta gear by editing a file anyway. Technically possible.
I used to play it, but if I remember they did have a "get it if you missed it" period for a few of the minor holidays.
