My admittedly ancient Billion BIPAC 7300G ADSL2+ router is driving me INSANE. If I have the audacity to try and download something and browse the internet, it has a panic attack and the connection jumps into a death pit straight out of Indiana Jones movie. I HATE IT SO MUCH I WANT IT TO BE ALIVE SO IT CAN FEEL THE PAIN AS IT BURNS IN A FIRE WHILE I TOSS ACID ON IT!!! So if anyone knows of a good replacement for max $200 AUD, that would be good. needs to be able to handle simultaneously (worst case scenario): 3 Laptops 1 Desktop 2 Smartphones 1 Ipod 1 Almost-Smart TV 1 PS3 My most passionate hatred.
So the Netgear N600 caught my eye. Seems pretty good. The negatives in the reviews I've read don't apply to me. Can anyone say otherwise? Or have a better idea? Also looking into: Trendnet AC1750 (TEW-812DRU) Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC1900 EA6900 Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Smart WiFi Router (R7000) MUST BE A MODEM/ROUTER THING EVEN THOUGH WHAT I LISTED ABOVE MIGHT NOT BE BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING.
