It's still a work in progress but finally i'm getting close to finishing making my first PA unit.. "The Wedge" Some kind of fighter, maybe an orbital one .. Trying to keep the poly count as low as i possibly can so it's fairly simple.
Improvements made, still aiming to move the sidearms in closer to the body. Maybe return to having a sharper nose to the front of the craft Adding bonework next so it will work in PA.
I use 3Ds Max 9 to make the base models, I'm more used to its layout and controls. I also use Blender because it has the PAPA import/export thing raevn made (Wich i still need to work out how to use to export a model mine keep failing). I got myself to here, but i can't get it to load in game.. I have tried it in FBX format too, game loads model but it's invisible in game so i have miffed something up somewhere..
@TheWrongCat ... It does look like a descent robot hey.... lol Oh wait.. I have this.. The PYRO .. Maybe i should make a Descent Mod,,
Does the Lego program allow exports to other formats that could be converted to PA format? If so someone could reskin all the units in a lego style ;-)
That would be something to see! Smashing a planet with your asteroid and watching both of them explode into clouds of bricks!
just make lego skinned units as a mod and have the sparks in explosions changed to flying lego bricks and have some scattered lego as debris
