I played the Alto Saxophone in high school. I was pretty decent, but I wasn't a big fan of band itself. At least it was better than chorus though...
Let's see I played Baritone Horn from 4th grade all the way until 8th. I had a friend who was from Czechoslovakia and his whole family was into classical music so they had "classical instruments" all over the house. So yeah they taught me how to play Piano. Around 6th grade I started playing Drums and Guitar and have been playing both ever since off an on. Now if it can makes music I will learn how to play it.
Drums and vocals for a jam band for the past few years. But we haven't really accomplished anything because we're always too stoned.
Guitar for ten years. Also picked up spinning records in 98 and enjoy it much more then guitar nowdays. That's kind of like an instrument. The gear is as expensive as one, and before serato records were up to ten dollars a POP. That's 150 bucks per recorded mix. Dang! Edit: speaking of, if anyone on the west coast is interested in buying some records I have been parting with them slowly. I have a collection of about 800 electronic music from the last decade. Drum and bass, deep house, electro, hip hop, breaks, psytrance mostly. I'll make a good deal, and if you buy enough of them ill transport anywhere in the southern California area. PM me if you're interested and ill email you the inventory list.
I'm a classically trained cellist with a degree in music performance and education. I can also play the guitar and piano pretty damn well, and spent a decade as a touring club DJ.
Used to play violin, quit as soon as I was out of high school and the extracurricular activities no longer mattered.
Well we had another topic like this. So I will just say I played piano for 15 years. Mostly classical. L. Spiro
