When I load the game, the menu music is really loud. When I play the game, the music is really quiet or, for the most part, non-existent. The music just seems to be at the two extremes – too loud or too quiet. Nowhere in the middle ground. My music volume setting is at about the middle ground.
It is like that, because there is no game to distract from in the main menu, so the music is louder. They could make it less so, but some games take it to even more extremes. Street Fighter 4. Metal Gear Solid. Call of Duty.
This mean whenever I boot the game, I cannot hear what people are saying to me on teamspeak. So I lower the music volume so I can actually hear, and now the music is too quiet in game. I don't like it. :-/ At least we should have a menu music option. Or something.
Its more annoying on console games. I can't start any one of those games listed above any higher than 18 volume.
