Playfab servers are very laggy in ranked. Game freezes for literal minutes for both of us. The sim is still running though - when it resumes its fast forwarded to the current time Matchmaking also sometimes randomly connects me to someone's galactic war game instead of the actual ranked match.
This is genuinely terrifying. Imagine sitting back for a nice casual comp stomp campaign, then suddenly the enemy commander is Elodea.
all this thread tells me is that elodea has played so few ranked games, he hasnt even encountered all the bugs yet
