I try and play all my games at the same sensitivity. I work this out by dragging my mouse the full length of my mouse mat to see how far I turn (assuming evil mouse accel is off). This is so I don't have to re-learn my reflexes and so I can stay good between games. Now in MNC the first "notch" in the menu is too high. And having it set to 0 is just WAY too slow. So atm I have to type in "setSensitivity 8.5" everytime a game starts. Not the biggest deal in the world as you can use the "up arrow" after you've typed it once. But i just wondered if there is an autoexec file or config file I can set this in?
C:\Users\...\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\HostileGame\Config\HostileInput.ini I see a MouseSensitivity=x setting, so maybe that. Untested though. Also, you can drag the sensitivity bar, you don't have to go notch to notch.
Wow, can't believe I didn't figure that out. Lol. Ok cheers guys. No wonder there was no post on it. P.S. That setting i nthe hostileinput.ini appears to do nothing. It never changes, and changing it manually has zero effect.
If they haven't fixed it yet the mouse input settings set through hostileinput.ini will not be respected; the only reliable way as of now is to use the slider in the menu.
