The mouse is somewhat laggy. I have tried another mouse (USB instead of optical) but that did not help. I notice very low fps (~6.42 fps) during multiplayer games in MNC, however TF2 is fine. I also notice that when I'm refreshing list of servers in multiplayer screen, everything else (music, mouse, etc) seems to freeze for a second or two while it's refreshing the list of servers - almost as if it was single threading.

    I have a:

    Sony VAIO VGC-LT18E
    Intel Core 2 Dou T7500 (2.2GHz)
    4Gb RAM
    NVIDIA 8400M GT GPU
Windows Vista Home Premium (with latest Windows updates applied)

    Thanks.

Nothing you can do but buy a new computer, that shits old. Input lag and FPS are tied to eachother, it seems to be extra much in unreal games like this one. I need 40+ FPS to play unreal games. 6 FPS just does not cut it, and theres pretty much nothing you can do but buy a new computer.

Turning off vsync can help reduce input lag

This is true, vsync should never be used unless you have a constant FPS of above your monitors refresh rate (Hz), which is most often 60. If you do so then you rape your performance and get heavy input lag. But the first thing to do obviously when you have frame rate issues are to lower your graphics to the absolute minimum, I assumed you have done so and still get 6 FPS. If not then do so immediately!

Heres another thing I just remembered that may help: Make a shortcut to the game, its location is "Steam\steamapps\common\monday night combat\Binaries\Win32\mnc.exe". Open nVidia Control Panel by right clicking on the desktop. Go to "Manage 3D Settings", click the tab "Program Settings", press "Add", find your shortcut to the game and open it. Then in the list below find "Maximum pre-rendered Frames" and set it to 0.

Sadly though, with such a low FPS as 6 I doubt any of this will help you.

No resolution. The mouse pointer just seems to lag behind the mouse which makes it kinda awkard, even on the main menu screen. Hopefully the ga release will improve on the situation.

    Hello Litego -

I forced Vertical Synch to Off in the Nvidia Control Panel for the mnc.exe shortcut and the fps increased to ~20 fps making the game quite enjoyable. Strangely, the VSynch option in the actual game menu defaults to Off but maybe it does not have the same effect as the Vertical Synch setting in the Nvidia Control Panel. Thank you everyone for your help - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
