MK9... Anybody going to get it?

In my mind, it's going to be sold to me on how difficult it is. I love MK, but if the game's going back to it's roots, that means it'll be really, really difficult.

Veteran UMK3, MK2, MK4 and MK vs DC player here.

Prolly not...the AI in the old games could predict your every movement...seeing as how there's going to be better technology there probably won't be a need for artificial difficulty

I'll be buying the hell out of the new Mortal Kombat. I've owned and played every single one so far.

Go Sub Zero! and occasionally Jax!

I'd actually say go Sub-Zero, often Reptile. Even if the poor bugger spent all of the games being tricked by one person or another.

I don't really have a deep attachment to Mortal Kombat. After UMK3, I just stopped caring about the series.

Still, the Challenge Tower reveal piqued my interest.

I really meant more on a gameplay standpoint. Sub Zero best fits my playstyle. I tend to like characters that don't broadcast what they're about to do. (That's the main reason I use Brad Wong in the Dead or Alive games.)

I just like Jax as a character, really. Although I just checked the character list and noticed that Stryker and Nighthawk are both in it, so I think i'll be using one of them instead of Jax as my secondary character; I really like their movesets. (at least in the previous games.)

They may be not the most balanced fighters in the world but I still played them a lot.

    Tell me about it...

Better than MK Trilogy, though. I was basically forced to use the emulator's infinite health cheat.

I just spent money for my friend to get PSN +, so I could play the free demo a week early.

    Yes.

Although I wish I could use Kabal, playing against my friend's Scorp with Sub is pretty fun.
