Should Uber implement more teams into this game? Such as a: Green team Purple Team Yellow Team Gray Team Black Team White Team Etc. (Still 1team vs 1 team)
As much as I would like to see more team colors, the current colors were made because of the way they stick out, and many of the status effect and such were made to contrast with the team colors. Changing the colors would mean having to change several other aspects of the game.
its not... need to redo every map for each new color combo. that MULTIPLIES the game's natural file size
That's why I said "if". It would take a massive rehaul of pretty much everything, in terms of models. I can still dream, can't I?
No. Balancing games with more than two teams on a playing field at once is phenomenally difficult and designing balanced maps for such gameplay is beyond tedious. A better idea would be an outright deathmatch mode, but considering that's a bad idea itself...
yea... only 1 on 1, it wouldnt be red vs blue vs white vs black.. it would just be a combination of colors vs color just to make it have the 'feel' of being more of a Sport as the purpose of MNC is the 'Future Sport' and Sports have leagues with multiple teams with colors. Such as White vs Blue Blue Vs Red Blue vs Green Red vs Green Purple vs Pink Stuff like that, it would still only be a 1 team vs 1 team. Just more options for teams than just Hotshots and Icemen
*sweatdrop* Well, still no. Red and blue are the common multiplayer team colors because they're the most distinct colors out there. Of course you can pair up any two opposite colors, but none are quite as noticeable as red and blue.
There are also many games that have absolutely no distinctive colors for opposing teams, CoD for example.
Well then there's the issue another poster brought up about what it'd require to change the colors :| Doesn't sound worth the effort to me.
