My friend and I were in a game today where in OT, our moneyball went from 90%+ to 0 in less than 2 seconds. The announcer had just announced that our moneyball was at 75% and then the destruction scene started playing before he could even finish the statement. In the video it showed a juiced Assassin and juiced Assault. I do know that the other 3 Pros were at their base as I had just killed them or forced them back to their spawn. I am unsure if there was a 6th Pro but regardless I have never been able to decimate a moneyball in less than 5 seconds. Anyone else encountered this glitch yet?

I think juiced assaults just take it down ridiculously fast, especially if they bomb it.

Overtime juiced shurikens are one of the fastest too

A juiced sniper or tank will take down the ball in about a single clip in overtime, and they can do it from as far away as they can get an angle on it.

I understand that but the title update was supposed to remove any bonus damage against the Moneyball in OT. Instead it gets destroyed more quickly, even during regulation.

Here is an excerpt from the update notes:

Reduced the amount of increased damage the Moneyball takes in Overtime, thus reducing the effectiveness of Juice rushing.

When a Moneyball is destroyed faster than the announcer can finish the damage update being at 75% I think that something is wrong with "reducing the effectiveness of 'Juice rushing'."

Before the patch I could kill the ball in overtime with one juice as a gunner. I haven't been able to try it afterward.

The bonus damage has been reduced however there is still bonus damage. I believe attacks around 50% to 75% less damage in overtime than they used to, but that still means that 2+ tanks/snipers can drain the moneyball in pretty much no time. Also, I'm not sure but it seems the the improved hit detection makes increases the effectiveness of the assault's rifle and the minigun on the moneyball.

Yes, the bonus damage to the Moneyball in Overtime has been reduced but there still is a slight bonus.

Yeah, I understand this as well. I'll have to do some testing as I have not had much time to play this week. What surprised me was I have never seen a Moneyball get destroyed while the announcer is telling us that it's health is at 75%. Not even two pre-update Snipers could manage this while Juiced so I'm having a hard time figuring out how an Assassin and Assault managed it.

My only conlusion at this point is that there is something wrong with Juice as many others have reported health not depleting against Juiced Pros so perhaps the damage was glitched or such. I will do my best to see if I can isolate/replicate this issue as our monyeball went from 75% to 0% in under 2 seconds.

I played a match today and was with the rush that brought down the moneyball. With 6:04 on the clock, the moment the ball hit the ground the match ended and we won. I don't remember if the other guy was juiced or not, I think it was a gunner and I was support, but neither one of us could have done that legitimately.

What you're describing there is called a win. The Moneyball can still be taken down fast before Overtime if people work together. We haven't changed that.

Just because you don't see anyone right on the Moneyball that does not mean they are not damaging it. On all 4 maps there are other angles you can hit the moneyball at while being outside of the enemy base.

No, this was instantaneous. There were not shots on the ball, no little money noises, no time at all. I was on the winning team, leading the rush and was literally the split second the ball hit the ground. Not a sympathetic sniper, not a juice rush. Instant.

Yeah, this was almost identical to what my friend and I experienced as well, although we were on the losing team instead. As I said before the announcer could not even keep up with the damage update and by the time he stated that our Moneyball was at 75% the game was over. In all of my games I have never seen a Moneyball destroyed that quickly and I know for a fact that 3 of the possible 6 players were at their base.

In a nutshell my team had their ball down to below 50% and ours was at 95% or higher. By the time OT started we pushed into their base, got a message that our Moneyball was being damaged and the game was instantly over. The entire destruction of our Moneyball took less than 2 seconds total.

There isn't anything in the game that will cause what you're describing to happen. I'm not saying it didn't but unless there's a way to reproduce what you are claiming, we can't really do anything about it. The way we fix bugs is to find a reliable repro case, look at the code when that case happens, see where it could break and fix it. Unless there's some exact steps to reproduce it, it's like finding a needle in a haystack. There could be network issues that would give you a wrong indication of the health level of the Moneyball but we haven't seen this.

I understand 100% and will do my best to isolate/replicate this issue. As I stated previously I have not been able to play much this week but will attempt to figure things out when I have some time. The purpose of this thread was to try and save me some time but one other incident is hardly enough evidence to isolate the problem. I'll keep this thread updated if I find out anything further.
