There have been many MANY games where I've gone to the back of an enemy base and focused on killing turrets and shooting the moneyball while the enemy team is distracted.

I could have a k/d like 2/7 but meanwhile I've done 75% of all the damage to the moneyball. It's cool that I won the game, but it would be nice to not look like I've done nothing for the team by being at the bottom or near the bottom of the list despite the fact I've actually done the most important ****.

The win is nice and all, but a little recognition for all of my sneaky shenanigans would be appreciated.

I don't think we don't need any more clutter on the scoreboard... I would support a "Moneyball Damage Done" career tracker though, complete with protags.

I would like to see a moneyball damage indicator. Turret kills not so much - that stat is mostly disposable. Kinda like the turrets themselves, but for the moneyball it is THE central focus. So it's kindof important. It also helps reinforce that it's not just about your K/D.

Sounds like you did very little for the team for the whole match. Even if you dont kill pro's there is no excuse for not killing bots.

    Scoreboard dont need the clutter.

I think it would be nice to have Turret kills, Damage done to moneyball and also have ammount of HP Healed (for when you play support) on the scoreboard.

    Against clutter on the scoreboard.

While the moneyball is the central focus, getting to it is really the hard part. Damaging it is such a small portion of the game I don't see it needing to be recorded on the scoreboard. Career moneyball damage would be cool though.

personal stats at the bottom of the screen as per TF2, if people want specific class stats. The main scoreboard should only keep the important bits. Like moneyball damage %. Or if it's THAT much clutter to have two numbers next to each other, give the player who did the most a star or a cuddly little bunny or something.

    Fix'd

I like the personal stats a la TF2 suggestion. Makes sense, doesn't add to clutter, I can ignore it if I feel like it. Good all around.

Also, I just noticed this. Churro counts as a misspelled with the current word filter. I find this funny. You may carry on with your discussion now.

I'm not sure giving me bacon would be a good idea. People already rage at me for spamming shurikens at the ball like it's the last day of the january shurikens sale or something.

People like numbers. Numbers that tell them they're good. I look at my stats and see my boring 1.2K/D (I main sin and have been improving it over time since i learnt how to play the class) and think "Well, that's kinda meh". But then i see i have more assists than kills AND deaths combined... as well as knowing i have a ton of bot kills. It makes me feel useful. Especially knowing i always have a fairly notable positive K/D these days and my stats are visibly improving over time. It makes me want to play a match. Push that number a bit higher.

Yes, my K/D was less than 1 when i first started. But now i know how to play! My matches are usually 3-5:1 with the most bot kills or a very close second on my team. Stats make me feel like a credit to my team. Knowing i also smashed that delicious ball of coins harder than Assaulty McFlypants would be even better. Though i agree there should be minimal clutter. So adding a ton of stats ala Global Agena's end of match screen (have you SEEN that mess?!) is definately a no no.

Have you ever played assault? getting there is NOT hard on any map. Damaging that **** is what counts, keeping it down is what counts, killing turrets to get your bots in there is what counts. I almost want to say bot kills don't matter because you only have to kill 2-4 waves to push your bots to their spawn if yours don't die, and if there is no turret to kill your bots their moneyball goes down. Once the moneyball goes down if you keep it down it is GG, because your bots will always beat the enemy bots.

I meant getting the moneyball in a position to be damaged, not entering the moneyball kill zone. The moneyball portion of the game is just the like the sprint at the end of a race. It gets you to the end, but it's the pacing beforehand that wins.
