    Coming Soon

    Fixes
    Fixed class limits for servers
    Fixed passwords not working for servers
    Fixed crash when creating turrets
    Fixed some mascot pathing issues
    Fixed some minor bot firing issues
    Fixed profile wipes when playing in Offline Mode
    Fixed server passwords getting reset


    Adjustments
    Removed Clan Tags. Players can still change their name through Steam to reflect a Clan Tag
    Increased the number of bots in each Crossfire wave to help evaluate performance
    Scoreboard no longer blocks game input
    Disabled lobby buttons while loading into a game


    New Features
    Added buy confirmation pop up for Highlights and Career ProTags
    Added more Mascot animations
    Added a cooldown bar in the HUD to reflect the status of Gunner or Tank thrusters
    Added New! mascot head icon to Career Milestones when there is an unseen ProTag in that milestone
    Colored death UI to match the players team
    Added support for multiple dedicated servers on a single computer
    Added an autobalance option for Crossfire matches
    Added message for when players are auto balanced
    Added ServerInstance cmdline option to support multiple dedicated servers on one machine. -ServerInstance[0-14] will automatically offset ports so that all instances show in the serverbrowser. There is no need to change the base port(7777)as it is auto offset by ServerInstance.

    Fixed zero mouse sensitivity issue.
    Fixed spawned bots rewarding bounty and assists when they explode via money ball, time out or buzzer attack.

    Balance Changes
    Reduced the duration of Sniper Trap Freeze against players.
    Increased recovery time of level 2 and 3 Tank Charge
    Decreased damage done by level 3 Tank Charge, knockdown and stun is unchanged.

    Fixes
    Fixed scrollbars on all scrollable UIs.
    Fixed a display issue in the Playbook.
    Fixed game crash on non English languages
    Fixed sound for 7.1 audio devices
    Fixed not seeing Blitz servers in the server browser.


    Adjustments
    Improved the chat and console font.
    Colorized team chat to match your teams color.
    Increased the time to start a Blitz match in order to give more time for players to get on the server. Game can still by started earlier by toggling ready.
    Improved server lists and crashing associated with multiplayer.
    Reduced the overall number of bots in Crossfire.


    Balance Changes
    Decreased the amount of damage a Firebase takes while its deploying.
    Decreased the recovery time of level 2 and 3 Airstrike.


    Monday Night Combat Product Update 1
    12/19/10

    Fixes
    Fixed sensitivity sliders so that the minimum value is no longer 0.
    Fixed the actions in the death scene to be rebindable.
    Fixed several crashes at the end of Blitz rounds.
    Fixed wrong Challenge Names showing up when browsing for a Blitz game.
    Fixed the Server Browser map filter and set the default to All.
    Fixed getting cash on hand back after purchasing a custom class.
    Fixed a crash on dedicated servers.
    Fixed Chat and Team Chat


    Adjustments
    Refactored the code that displays player counts in the Server Browser.
    Changed some UI text size for higher resolutions.
    Changed the Server Browser tabs to be more legible.
    Changed the Server Browser to default to Internet.


    Balance Changes
    Increased the amount of bots spawn for some pros that purchase bots at a bot spawner.
    Reduced the amount of juice Lazer Blazer turrets give to deployed Tanks and taunting Pros.
    Increased clip size of Tanks Rail Gun.

    Warning: You custom keys and classes will be reset! set them up before you go online again.

    Good patch! The fix for the custom classes works... @$%$&!!! :D

    You forgot to mention in the release notes that you have also added a bind for changing change class :)

    I think the Dedicated Server fix broke more than it did good, could you try inverting the fix and see if we can host a normal game again? viewtopic.php?f=30&t=5152&p=63607#p63607

    Try 'delete local content' in Steam, redownload MNC.

    Actually, I alreayd rechecked files and such and the game itself runs just fine. Besides that I just setup a dedicated server and just watched the log and I think I found the problem.

    What happens is this:
    Whenever a player joins he's either accepted or rejected depending on if his ID is valid and if the server is at capacity or not.

    Whenever the server is at capacity you get kicked back to the main menu, BUT, the connection stays active. I only 2 minutes my server had 38 connected players, of which 12 where actually playing, the other 26 had tried to connect but got kicked back because the server was at capacity. I noticed this so I tried joining myself, saw the connection count raising and got kicked back to the menu. After I rejoined AGAIN, the server started acting all weird, because he already had a connection of the same player (me) still going on and crashed.

    So, what does this conclude:
    1. Connections aren't closed properly and stay active
    2. When rejoining with an already open connection you will crash the server

    Sounds easy enough to fix, but I dunno.

    I can't seem to isolate the cause of the crashing on my comp, might be two different causes:
    1. The refresh button is now even MORE sensitive to crashing from over-use.
    2. Joining a server I haven't joined before either causes to stall then crash, or crash immediately. Though there are only two or three servers up at the moment, so it's hard to confirm from memory when I could just be a dozy pillock and wound up connecting with no load screen, then effing it up by trying to connect intentionally.

    PS. I thought the persistent negative numbers at first were bots being counted as players, but now I thought it was a number of connection attempts on the server. Would make sense though if it's number of active but not playing connections with the server since there is about a 5000:1 player to server ratio or some such similarly silly sum.

    After watching the log while playing myself the server crashed RIGHT AFTER the same IP/PlayerID tried connecting a second time in a row. Again connection count didnt go down after he was "kicked" the first time.

    Oh lol.

    Ekanaut: Try re-installing.

    Me -> deletes MNC -> starts install of MNC -> realises download speed is now 1/5th of former speed due to congestion -> FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU

    yep tried that reinstall a few times and its really slow now .

    does not help .

    hopefully there will be a fix for the dedicated servers. one thing that would help would for the dev's to publish a quick setup guide or at least a proper command line .

    nothing seems to work

    You mean you instead of we :p Do we need to have some sql database files or what? Because in the config it does talk about sql stuff and about 192.168.1.30 even though that isnt even my local ip.
    Changing that ip doesn't helps me trying to host without crashing -.-

    The game currently lives because of people like me and others (the we) hosting servers ;)

    That's just the DB used for bug-tracking which is most likely used internally by Uber Entertainment, no need for clients to have it.

    My server just reached 50 connections and crashed right after client 51 tried to connect. This can be explained because 50 connections is the MAXIMUM UE3 supports, obviously leading into a crash if you try to make 51.

    I also noticed a player managed to connect even though the server was full, causing a stream of replication errors (buffer overflows and such).
