I understand why threads are locked but the behavior within still persist. Off topic rants, personal attacks, trolling all still happen after a thread is locked. Some of the times the threads also have a good discussion but because a few members resort to personal attacks and/or trolling they cause the threads to get locked and their behavior doesn't stop and it just carries over to another thread. Can the mods start warning forum members and just deleting their posts instead of locking all of the threads? A bunch of locked threads on the main page doesn't look too good. Also if someone makes a post in the wrong section of the forums can you just move it to the right section and try not to be so smug about it?
Or, like this thread, remake the other thread and continue the discussion. It's faster and easier to do that instead of me deleting specific handfuls of posts. If you haven't noticed there's often many other threads that are basically spam. Pretty much every thread certain folk create is locked shortly afterwards. This forum isn't mine to look after, it's everyone's.
