You could taunt while airbourne. This needs to be Uber's top priority. Whenever I killed anyone I would throw a bomb at my feet, jump into the air, start taunting and blast myself off the arena.

HA-HA-HA. I LOVE WHAT YOU DO.

It'd be the best if Ninja Wallace couldn't charge out of the middle of a grapple. :p

Air taunts would be coolio, but I'd much prefer to have a quick shout-out function, where if someone heals you or performs an assist, you can input a button command to gove a quick, cinematic shout out to whomever assisted you, like a quick "whodaman" to further cement the idea of this being a team effort.

That's a pretty cool idea, actually.

Because if someone heals me from critical and I taunt to show my appreciation, I look like a tool.

    Basically.

This would alleviate that (make me not look a foo'), and promote better team play, especially if there was a monetary incentive for giving a shoutout after an assist or assisted kill. I mean, we still have three more D-pad + 'A' button combinations left!

There's only 2 more d-pad combos left. Up is the skills menu. I've screwed up and bought the wrong thing several times trying to taunt because of the controller's horrible d-pad.

I would be cool if there was a pro tag or something for it...no need for money because that could get ridiculous.

We had more stuff on the d-pad but it is indeed horrible and inaccurate and tried to minimize as much as possible. There was an air tea bagging taunt while thanking your bro but we cut it before release :)

Ah yes, I seem to forget this. I also have the horrible issue of trying to quick skill pick and end of taunting (and getting killed) or some other odd combination courtesy of the 360's sad pad.

where mah Onza at, Razer? :x

Aw, that sucks. Sounds like a fun mechanic to have, especially if there was some kind of reward for pulling it off. Any plans to reinstitute it or something like it in the future? ;)

One of the downsides of console gaming, there's not enough buttons to go around. Then again, if controllers had more buttons, we'd need to be octopi to hold the darn thing. Hell, the N64 controller was complicated enough.

    /joke.

Did you guys give any thought to moving skill pick to D-left? If I slip off the stick and hit the d-pad it's always up. Plus they're close enough that I skill pick instead of taunting fairly often.

You CUT this!?!? Were you delirious from a bacon withdrawal? The only thing cooler than a good tea bagging is an AIRBORNE tea bagging...

    Amiright?

Shout outs could be a great way to call for healing, then once they get healed by a support the support could get like $10 for responding to the call for aid. Enhance teamwork, etc.

I thought that would be a good idea initially, but think of it this way: do you want entire teams to be taunting while the currently alive rest of the enemy team picks them off?

I think you guys are getting off what's important here. Imagine an Assault blasting across the arena and straight into your face while taunting

    LARRRGE STEPS.

Indeed. Though I suppose that would involve no actual walking or steps what so ever. Unless you mean 'steps' as in 'actions'.

An in-air taunt would be pretty sweet, for the Assault. I only play support, but if the assault had a different taunt, executed the same way just while jetpacking, that would be entertaining.

A thumbs-up for the support that saves your *** while you're near-death would be cool too, but that d-pad is awful.

    I hate the d-pad.

Why is it so crummy? The original Nintendo d-pad was better. WTF?
