The demand for an MNC sequel or full disc game has become an increasingly popular post on the forum so I came up with a few ideas for the game. New Title: Could be something like Monday Night Combat: Season Pass or MNC 2000 Customizable Classes: Don't judge me for my lack of knowledge about how games are made because I will admit I do not know what is involved. Anyway I thought it would be cool if you could customize the gender of your class as well as the number displayed on their armor. New Maps: New maps could be made with varying weather conditions, for example rain, snow etc. Like others have said in the past the time of day could change which would allow you to play at night. I also think that the levitating platform above the arena should move around to get different vantage points and stuff. New Classes: I'm really not sure If anything can be done to expand the classes as they are already pretty solid and finished (in my opinion anyway). Although I still think that a Pitgirl class would be awesome. Career/Story Mode: A story mode could be a good way to get to know the classes a bit more. My idea is this, the story or career mode could be the story of each individual class, it could explain who they were and where they came from before joining Monday Night Combat, for example the Assault may have been an athlete of some description or the Support could have been a washed up representative from coffee brand (as he keeps banging on about stuff like that). I don't know how they will be transformed into playable levels, maybe they could just be cutscenes or purchasable videos. New Quotes and Taunts: Maybe there could be a different taunt for each skill level and weapon. No need to change the Announcer, he is funny already. Lucky Seat Number: A lucky seat number should be drawn every so often, when this happens the lucky winner is forced into the Bullseye costume and sent out into the field as a prize. Just a thought. Removable Turrets: Sick of accidently building the wrong turret (or am I the only one who does it) it would be cool if you could remove it by pressing and holding down on the D-Pad. When you do this you will get 70% of the initial price back. The 30% reduction is for being clumsy. Gladiator Challenge: Ok I saw this in a gladiator movie, you and a mate are chained together which means where one goes, the other follows. You will have to work together in order to win. Trophies: I know the Money ball is the prize but I think that you should get a trophy for 5 wins in a row or something in Crossfire. Zoo Blitz: In Zoo Blitz, the object of the game is to protect yourself from being killed by the native or alien animals in the arena. You have 10 lives (as animals can't kill Money balls, I don't think) and there are 10 waves like Scramble. Sounds like fun to me! Subtitles: I want to know what they are saying. Thats all I got. Please leave more ideas!
I think a great idea would be maps that tilt... if your winning the maps should tilt up and obviously if ur winning the map would be tilted down giving you and advantage and a chance to make a comback...but i think also the tilted down bit should have more cover and the tilted up bit less cover.
wouldnt this totally mess with bots? anyhow, more turrets please. lol if you decide to make a sequel, everyone would benefit in every game mode with more turrets and more effects. and game-developers, if your out of turret ideas, you might find some ideas in onslaught-td, vector-td, bloons-td...
If you read the Bob Berry (CEO of UberEnt.) Hitpoints interview he says the next game will be MNC2...lol
More game modes and more maps are the only things necessary. I'd love to see more classes and different skills for existing classes, maybe 5 skills per class and you equip 3. Different weather conditions would be nice, but they shouldn't affect gameplay, only scenery. There should be cut-scenes before and after matches of fans acting crazy, killing each other, etc. Sort of reminds me of metalocalypse. More humor is always a plus. Customizable private matches and a good lobby system that allows you to pick teams, kick players, and change rules would be nice. A ranked matchmaking playlist would be . Customizable protags would be awesome, where you pick a background and type a message. Maybe make it so you use earnings to unlock new classes would be nice, like CoD sort of. DEDICATED SERVERS. Uber should definitely hold a public beta. New turrets, new bots, new teams. Customizable characters would be nice. Make endorsements reflect appearance, so players with gold armor are wearing lots of armor, players with gold clip size have more ammo on their belt, etc. Maybe make the game a little less cartoony. I love the way it is, but I see lots of potential in a darker setting. More sweet beards, it's the key to success (tank). Make juice more of a rarity, or make the juice stands spawn like the annihilator every 2 minutes or so. That's all I can think of for now.
juice pretty much needs to be fixed in this game, and whatever fixes it to be carried over to the next game. juice needs to be more rare, not a weapon you need to obtain every minute to play properly. some servers being dedicated servers would be nice, but thats more of a computer thing (can consoles do dedicated servers? if so, why da f*** do console games choose to have rage-quitting hosts ruin my day?). i used to run a dedicated c&c renegade server, modded it to have a few fun things and designed add-ons and maps. and most would agree that the game should be unrealistic. unrealistic is what this game is aimed to be. not mw2, its closer to team fort. i suppose c&c was cartoony while being realistic, but it should not so realistic that it "trys too hard" to look like and simulate real life combat and movement and ect. real life isnt "balanced" anyhow, an aa12 is a shotgun with explosive rounds that can hit a human-size target with no extra spread at 200meters, and nukes arent fair at all. in real life, planes fall on your head and thats between you and god. you pay bills, not fun.
I don't want it to be realistic, but I don't want it to look like The Incredibles. I'm just saying they could make the characters look a little more rugged or something.
No offense, but I don't want more Master Chiefs running around, especially in a game like this. I don't think more rugged players would fit in the atmosphere that Uber has created, unless they make Mickey Cantor emo sounding or something. Except the tank needs new armor. The egg shape is kind of rediculous.
of course a sequel would be more sharper, and renegade was that is what im saying. but i dont want the people to look too "real life human", or the weapons to look too "factory stock google image", or your HUD and aim to be realistic and first-person, or everything to be serious or the gameplay to limit superhuman abilities. i used to like CoD for these things, but i liked renegade better come to think of it. CoD was really a different mechanic and aim. Also, a sequel or dlc might do different styles of armors. so you can have classic-egg armor, or new-jagged armor, or overalls and a trucker cap lmao. could wear different things would be cool, and the game colors them for what team your on.
People want a story mode well how about the story mode is singleplayer and multiplayer conbinded like you can upgrade weapons get drafted or pick your team customize ur looks choose different armor due to offensive/ defensive play and hire couches. then when you play a game it will be multiplayer though. for story refrences look at madden or Chromehounds or MAG(mag is actually a perfect example)
a story mode i think would work cool is a tutorial of the characters background and uses ingame, followed by a generic set of levels that all the pros have the same levels in the same order. so a individual character tutorial, followed by a lvl1-60 or something kind of like blitz with a mix of tower-defence level-advancing and tower-defence winding-road arenas with nubs along them and jump-pads as shortcuts and the such. kind of like blitz is now. for that matter, you could keep blitz with the addition of individual character tutorials. OR... heres another idea. how about blitz stays, character tutorials are made, and you also make a set of time-trial and survival challenge modes for each character or something.
