since xbox live arcade games are heading onto 360 retail disk why doesnt uber release mnc on retail and offer the dlcs and such on the disks? limbo the mortarcycle game hd and a couple of other best sellers are hitting retail disks theres plenty of room to store all the updates and such and add ons there
because retail discs are aimed at people who dont have a connection to live to play online. why would uber market an online-primary game to people who dont play online? also: discs.
as much as i want to poop on feedle too, I have to think that there are millions of halo and cod players who have never looked at an arcade game. How many of them even tried the free trial?
1. limited disk space 2. costs of producing and transporting the disks lowers profit margins 3. you dont need people who cant play online on this game, and advertising is cheaper on XBL than it is anywhere else.
