I don't record, i know stats dont always tell the story, or comment on who made the big play to win it, or let you know if a team sacrificed good looking stats for 5 minutes tapping the ball to keep it down for the win while the opposing team racked up stats along with a loss, but i can provide a little something for the fans. First time using this crap so if anyone knows how to name the slides so i can input maps, notable plays, and missing people who left early/after the game etc let me know.

Gaayy, the team with Chron2caust won like every game. I would suggest we have him make the permanent move to Support.

I use a Roxio Game Capture and have had very good results with it (I don't post videos right now, unless people want to see the highlights of them kicking my ***). I just unplug HDMI when doing a cap since it only works with component. They do 720P, but most people compress to upload anyway so it isn't really a factor. It is about 1GB per minute of video if you do a 720P cap (double for 1080) so if you have a lower end PC like I do, it actually works better because it is less intense on your system. They are around $100 retail, less on Amazon.

glad to see a lot of people playing classes they normally wouldn't play, but then again there are still those few stat whores who play the same class against a way worse counterpart and still lose.

Toon, the best way for you to improve is to cap some POV videos and have us give you suggestions. I can tell you "well you gotta watch bots in both lanes as the assassin, even though you have a tank helping you" but if I can say "at 4:05 you made a switch to the opposite lane when you should keep pressure in the original lane because xyz" etc.

Solid advice, I will start to cap if people are ok with it.

I didn't cap the private matches I was in because I have to setup my laptop and swap cables which requires a reboot and settings change on the Xbox. Next ones, if I get some lead time, I will do a capture and upload it. If nothing else, it will make for some funny videos of "POV from the guy getting stomped...". I will of course not upload the audio since most people seem to hate having their voices recorded, or should I leave audio in so people can learn how to communicate better?

ehhh **** if anyone else is "okay" with it. I've always been fond of seeing multiple POVs in competitive matches. As far as audio, I'm not exactly sure what's better. Communication is easy to work on. It's a simple as "talk more".

even if you don't want everyone to see a video of you getting stomped, you can PM it to me or another player to be critiqued.

that was one of the best support games i had since i was free to do what i wanted. Usually im pinned down by assaults and gunners jucing on me every second. Got 2 clutch firebases setup and game was over

If I remember correctly I played Gunner alongside Kckzi's sniper, Murky's assault, Gem's support (beast), Satoshi's tank, and Deadpool's assassin. You had your sniper, Hawkshade's tank, YieldingShieldingRam's assault, Skill's gunner, Feedle's support, and Knave's assassin.
But yeah I went like 33-17 and everyone else had 10-20 kills or something. We had map control for most of the game, but fell behind at the end.
I just wanted to point out that it may be a testament to the fact that you can take over a game as gunner if you play it properly and take out enemies in the right order and keep yourself in good positions on the map.

    And I juiced 0 times!

I like getting a chance to play other classes rather then just tank.

its weird deadpool because I don't really mind the fact that you only play assassin, just like I don't really mind when wildman always goes gunner.

I had a lot of fun again with the private matches last night. I spent most of the night off class and enjoyed getting to try something new without getting totally wrecked the whole time. There was actually a lot of this on both sides and it was fun getting to go against people who weren't playing their normal classes(like tank vs tank with Deadpool.)

I also wanted to say that I think people in these privates need to have thicker skin when it comes to critiques. Chron comes under a lot of fire for critiquing people and telling them what they should be doing and it seems like no one appreciates what he is trying to do to help people get better, especially on classes they don't normally play. There is a pretty direct correlation in these screenshots from last night ; there is a match on Ammo Mule where Chron was my support and I was the gunner and he spent the whole time telling me where to be so he could heal me, where to move and not to necessarily spend all the time on the dome. These things might seem like common sense to some people but as someone who mains a non-slayer class, I had no idea that there were places I should avoid if I wanted to be healed and I had a better game because of it.(I went 24-24 which isn't good for a gunner, but decent.)

In contrast, there's a match here afterwards where I went gunner again on Lazor where I got absolutely curbstomped and got carried because I had no idea where to go and just got torn to pieces any time I stuck my neck out. I think I went 9-24 as the gunner, which is god awful.

So I want to say that I appreciated the critique, especially as someone who doesn't normally play slayer classes and coming from someone I know does well with them on a consistent basis. I'm not meaning to single out anyone at all, I just wanted to say I appreciated the criticism and that I think if people are going to be playing in these competitive matches and can't take criticism with a grain of salt that maybe they shouldn't be playing in them. Part of competition is learning from your mistakes and realizing why you didn't do well when you did.
