Lots of things I remember having questions about when I first starting playing (I never pre-order games, but I pre-ordered this one). Ahem:

    General
    1. Kill bots. Bots get you money and juice.
    2. Use juice to kill turrets.
    3. Most servers allow you to buy juice in the middle using the pink vendor thingys (in your base in the corner on spunky cola arena) ($500)
    4. Annhilator is EXTREMELY useful at keeping control. Get it whenever it comes up.
    5. Ejectors are well worth the money for bots and for pros. They can save time and really piss people off.
    6. Use your taunts in the start of the rounds! If you taunt after a kill its an extra 50$.
    7. Get good with all of the classes so that you can fill in for what your team is missing. It can be very difficult to win with 1 support, 3 assassins and 2 snipers...
    8. Don't die. This should be obvious, but because of how MNC rewards for Bot Kill Streaks and Pro Kill Streaks, as well as the juice you are accumulating. Staying alive can be very rewarding.
    9. Jackbots are great for Assassin and Sniper grapples. Or, if you time your jumps you can just beat the snot out of them at close range and they wont rocket you.
    10. Dont stand still. Assassins can't grapple you if you're in the air.
    11. Endorsements are how you customize your class -- increased crit strike, increased fire rate, better armor, etc.
    12. Bacon gives you all Gold Endorsements
    13. Churros heal you and refresh your skills
    14. Grab the speed boost powerups when you can -- they make a slow fat class like the gunner hell on wheels.
    15. Bots are the only way to get the enemy money ball down.
    16. If you're pushing the other team hard, but can't get into their base, start buying the hell out of longshots in your base.
    17. If you're getting hammered by assassins or need help with pro control -- buy shaved ice (assassins look like snowballs if they get into the shaved ice turret aura while stealthed)
    18. Lazer Blazers are okay for quick cheap bot control, but not much else since they die so fast and the node will be unusable after they are destroyed (for a short period)
    19. If the other team is in your base too much, work on upgrading your rockit turrets and having your supports keep those up and hacked.

    Uncle Tulleys
    1. Chickey gives the entire team bacon (Gold Endorsements). As an assault, drop a mine near the landing point for the jump pad. If someone comes after you while you're shooting chickey, blow the mine.
    2. In order to grapple chickey, wait for her to stomp, jump over the stomp, and grapple her while she is dazed. You get $200 and hurt her for 50% of her health.
    3. BUY BOTS when you have extra cash
    4. Jump pads everywhere, use them!
    5. As assassin and assault there are lots of high places you can get to in order to be a real nuisance to the enemy team.
    6. If they're in your tunnel and you can't get them out of your base -- use the rainbow jump pad to the left of your spawn -- it drops you in the middle

    Assassin
    1. Your #1 job should be killing bots -- you juice faster than any other class
    2. You are squishy -- run rather than fight (unless it is a 100% open free kill, then take it, stealth, and taunt)
    3. Flash bombs make you jump really high -- after grapple kills, flashbomb and get out! There is a good chance that someone is coming for you.
    4. You cannot grapple a deployed pro. But it takes long enough for them to come out of their deployed stance that you can get behind them and take them out with a blast of shuriken or just cut them up with your sword.
    5. Use reload to lunge with your sword/dagger
    6. Shurikens ricochet, use that to your advantage.
    7. A juiced assassin in overtime can destroy a moneyball and win the game
    8. On every map, try to get to the enemy bot spawns. If they can't get bots out, your bots will have a much easier time getting into their base (also you should be able to juice to kill their turrets)

    Support
    1. You have to use your "Hack" skill to actually hack a turret. Walk up to it and hold the button down to make it do more damage, shoot farther, and shoot faster (skill level 1,2,3)
    2. It is possible to hack enemy turrets with skill level 3 -- but it aint easy to hack an enemy turret -- unless its a shaved ice. You can distract damage dealing turrrets with a firebase and hack them. Juice also helps.
    3. Fast fire endorsements affect the rate of your heals! This can be crucial to keeping up your turrets during an enemy assault.
    4. You cannot use your airstrikes on anyone underneath cover
    5. You will be cash starved unless you can get your firebase in a good spot to kill enemy bots. Watch where other seasoned supports put them for tips.
    6. Hack turrets constantly!
    7. GAPSHOTS are friggin' godly. When you have some extra cash (and its right after someone uses the annhilator) buy gapshots. They can actually outdamage a supports heal if they start taking out enemy turrets--which they will do from your base.
    8. Hacking shaved ice turrets can be a great use of your hack since it increases its efficacy and range so much.
    9. A juice support's shotgun is one of the fastest way to take out a moneyball. Use that to your advantage.

    Gunner
    1. Don't deploy unless a) you're trying to avoid getting knocked out by a charge b) you're shooting an enemy moneyball and just need the extra damage (and dont mind dying) c) you're far enough away and you're taking out a turret
    2. Get a speed boost! You are fat and slow and your head is a huge target for snipers.
    3. You can actually take out enemy turrets from your base on some maps with your mortars.
    4. If you hear an assassin, use your slam! If you get grappled, wait a split second. most assassins will jump after a grapple to avoid your slam. Let them land before you let them have it.
    5. If someone is under you when you slam, its an instant kill (pancake). Use this to your advantage when jumping off a ledge.

    Sniper
    1. Upgrading your sniper rifle to level 3 does not increase its damage -- it increases splash and adds piercing. There is debate as to whether or not it makes headshots more difficult (I have never not upgraded it, will verify and report back). If you don't have a good bot pusher, upgrading to 3 can be necessary in order to kill the bots.
    2. Your flak is extremely useful in taking out firebases or for zone control, upgrade it!
    3. Use your ice traps at choke points (at the top of jump pads, ramps, etc.) Listen for the trap to trigger and take out your attacker.

    Assault
    1. Charge at 3 is usually an instant kill, but it can be a killer if you get stuck grappling a pro midfield. It is possible to hover and then charge to stop the grapple from triggering and go for a ring out, or just keep it at 2.
    2. You have the best jump jets of anyone in game, use them to avoid assassins and other pests.
    3. Your bomb is like a mobile ejector. Learn to use it and get good with it.
    4. Your grenades can bounce, use that to your advantage to take out pros and turrets other classes cant.

    Tank
    1. A gold or silver armor endorsement tank can survive a back grapple from a skill 3 assassin -- keep that in mind when you're choosing your endorsements
    2. Your rail gun is brutal for taking out bots at range (and pros -- if you put an endorsement point into accuracy)
    3. Jet gun, charge, then spin will take out most pros

EDIT: Edited for corrected information below and for eliminating my two support sections.

This made me giggle. There's a reason why I only do it against bad players.

    You can grapple bunnyhopping players.

You should only buy passive if you don't have a good bot pusher. Otherwise passive on sniper is bad.

The shotgun does more damage to the moneyball...

    Charge then DB.

To an extent, I disagree with Assault charge 3 as it makes the recharge much quicker.

yes upgrading to piercing rounds so that you can shoot multiple people at once is a bad idea

upgrading to explosive is an even worse idea why would you want to be able to kill an enemy assassin by shooting your own bots

some people think that upgrading the sniper passive makes it harder to hit headshots

pretty informative but there's something i disagree with

    fix'd

the slam animation is long enough for people to time and avoid it so it's really a skill play here

pretty sure juiced shotgun is one of the fastest ways to kill the money ball.

using fly before charging cancels the grapple so upgrading to level 3 gives you better CDR and more utility

jetgun and charge is enough but u might wanna open with charge since the knockdown gives you extra time for damage

also, why are there 2 support sections lol

Wrong at least against Assassin, in most situations (but correct in any where you did not just get backgrappled). I rely on Tanks doing this to kill them.

After backgrappling a Tank, they will either Death Blossom -> Charge or Charge -> Death Blossom.
The order determines whether they live or die.
If my grapple leaves them alive, I Smoke Bomb. If they Charge first, it wont knock me back, and I can hop over their Death Blossom and continue my attack pretty easily while they are blind. Since they can no longer dodge correctly, they will usually be dead before I land.

If they Death Blossom first, I still wont get knocked back while I Smoke Bomb through their following Charge, but I will be on fire and it will be two dangerous to continue my attack. I only continue while I am in the air, but if I havent finished the job I retreat and get back to killing bots.

    sort of..

I really don't like doing the hover->charge thing. It's undependable, and you'll sometimes still end up grappling, usually due to changes in elevation. Also, you can't turn while charging in the air the way you can on the ground, you only go in a straight line.

Indeed. Upgrading passive screws with the hitdetection.

Also, you can headshot a gunner and a tank through the armor with level 1 passive, but shhhhh, don't tell anyone.

To save on money a Silver Armor Tank with level 2 passive will just barley survive a level passive 3 Assassin backstab.

It would be so nice if the back grapple did not orient the tank towards the assassin; my survival rate for back grappling tanks would go up a lot.

If your grapple fails, take my previous advice.
Instead of trying to jump out of the way, which never works, use Smoke Bomb and take a hit or two.
Even if they manage to get both the Death Blossom and the Charge off on you, it will not make you dizzy (well it will but it has no meaning since you can still jump high and lunge) and they cant finish their counter assault (being blind and reloading). Sometimes they will even hop off the edge of the course for you, saving you some trouble.
With Gold Armor, as you should always have as Assassin, you will survive (you will die from falling damage if you do not have a katana though).

This thread had some helpful information that I was clueless on. Thanks. I got the game on the sale last week and just tried it last night. I think it is a blast, but the learning curve is steep! I plan on keeping with it though... again, loads of fun for me. :)

This is the sort of stuff that should get added to the tutorial for new players. It definitely would have made the learning curve less painful for me as a Post-Sale Noob.

I see this a lot but I don't understand why. When I play Assault, I might skip Charge 3, but if I'm playing against a team of bot-ignoring Assassins it's usually the first thing I snag after a few Passive levels. Can you (or anyone else) explain more about this? Am I dealing with Assassins incorrectly as an Assault?

charge 3 does an auto-grapple which when you use it to escape, you might unintentionally hit a bot and get stuck in that animation and get killed, which some ppl don't like. but if u use fly before charge 3, it cancels the grapple and does same charge damage as grapple 2 but with better cooldown; however, i don't play assault enough to have say that the fly+charge thing is consistent but it worked for me every time.
