I've searched and searched and haven't found a solution for this, but every time I load up MNC and choose a server, the volume mixer on my comp drops Mumble to rock bottom. This only happens with MNC, and it only ever kills off Mumble. If anyone has any insight into this I would be insanely grateful. Thank you!!

Thanks for at least replying, folks :). Running windows 7 currently, as is my friend who is also encountering the issue. Turns out for him if he's listening to music it'll mute that too when he hops on MNC. I've noticed the triggers are right when the program is started and also when I select a server. If anyone has even a vague idea of what I might try to fix it that'd be great. Thanks!

Try right click on your speaker icon in your windows tray -> playback devices -> communications -> "When Windows detects communications activity": Do nothing

Doesn't fix it completely, but helps quite a bit - hands down the worst "feature" of Windows 7

Yup, I have a similar problem. IT seems the Unreal engine doesn't like Widows 7's volume control feature. A shame, it is useful for several other applications.
