The game isn't dead. People are already getting disappointed with Brink, and it is only day 1 of its release. It is getting cruddy ratings and whatnot by the game ratings sites. MNC will be around for another year at least. I am waiting for the DLC, because that will make things a lot better.

Realize the first day of any game has issues brink is #2 right now behind GOW3 beta and that goes away in a week.
Only pub stoppers will still play this game.
