MNC: Draft Edition

    This is already a popular 360 idea, where we've got a draft tournament running and we're doing the first week. I'll give you a quick rundown.

    1. 96 people sign up to play in the tourney. we got 96 for 360, so I know we can do it.
    2. Players elect the captains for the teams. Captain has draft pickings for their team, the captain is well... captain of their team.
    3. We play the tourney. Teams are responsible for arranging their own matches, and have a week's timeframe to do so. This is the stage 360 is at. Extensions granted in exceptional circumstances. Tourney is double elimination.

    I haven't Steam, let alone MNC yet, so I'll keep myself out of the tourney until I definitely have it.

    Stage 2 in the OP. Captains are elected. They then pick their teams.

    Yeah i got that, but how will we choose captains?
    I'm new, don't know any of the names for now...

    But anyway, i'm all for it. Just hope i ain't gonna be picked last ;)

    I'm sure not everyones going to be on a great team. Let's just hope you are on one! lol

    It's better than no tournament...and maybe after getting the PC community on on this, we can have more private clans and do tournaments..

    One way you could make these team matching more fair is if we posted our current rank. Then once you've got enough people you can evenly distribute equal ranks to each team as best as possible...

    Probably too much work.

    I think we keep the drasfting as pure as the xbox tourney.

    the Steel Peel Men have me for example, making it a tad unfair against them.
