MNC Christmas Truce - Dec. 29th

There's been a lot of conflict in this forum over the past number of weeks; Shammas arguing with Hudson, Hudson arguing with DeadEye, DeadStretch arguing with Hudson, Jen being premenstrual all. the freaking. time.. Feedle is also tearing shreds out of everyone in his little GameFaqs treehouse (luckily, he's talking to himself). This had led to super internet lolz for the rest of us, but sometimes, we cringe. So hard. (There'll be no furry discussion in here, please. Nor will there be topless male pics)

I suggest that, like the German and British soldiers along the Western Front during Christmas of 1914, we call a Christmas Truce on the 29th. For just one day, we'll stop our bickering and be civil individuals for the sake of the community. On December 29th, MNC goes on sale on Xbox for (most likely) 600 Microsoft Points. As such, a surge of new players is likely. Said new players may end up joining here. Rather than pubstomping them, and showing them threads about how everyone hates everyone, we'll play nicely and post only happy sappy super amazing lovely delightful forum posts. Just for one day.

You don't have to lay down your guns, you don't have to go kick around the ol' Moneyball with Germany, but you do have the get the hell outta here. Amirite, MTV?

Seriously though, let's be cool for one freakin' day and show some new players how fun this game can be.

I picture OxyTeam and Grand Prize, both entering No Man's Land on AmmoMule, and letting each other share Bullseye's gifts without shooting each other in the crotch. Make it happen.

To be fair, I've only argued with Shammas over the past few weeks (I was giving a civil response to some partially valid criticisms from stretch, and deadeye and I are non-hostile to each other anymore), but yeah, I support this.
