While your recent efforts to start up private matches again are very appreciated gem, every time we've tried to set up a league or a tournament or a circlejerk on the forums here, people get all excited for it and then never show up or games are never played. I can't see this any different.

Also, apparently I'm a negative Nancy today. Sorry.

Would I like one? Hell yes. Is one going to actually work? I doubt it.

it has been tried before but has been tough to maintain interest. we've asked uber to help like they did with the FN tournament by offering token prizes like t-shirts and other signed small stuff, but yeah..

jeesports flopped bc it was way too long of an intended season, like from march to august i think it was mapped out for lol, and once again, depleting interest

id like to see one happen as well, but yeah, tough to maintain interest

I think a good place to start is with two somewhat even teams playing regular(once a week) matches and to go from there. A league is a bit too ambitious when there are maybe 20 people that play private level games any more.

I enjoy watching scrims.

If that's the list that I put together a while ago, the majority of those players don't play or don't play private matches.

Nah it's the one tom#'s did and has updated a few times, so it's fairly recent (Gemecide was in it so it ain't too old).

Yup, thats the one I made up and sent to tom. He could have added a couple of people but believe me, even when I first wrote up that list those people were impossible to get for privates
